Been here a few times, bought a welder and some other things. What I have noticed is the management really seem to be proud of themselves and their title. They go out of their way to not sell you what you are there to buy. Had company card that they would not accept because my name is not on the card. Back to Home Depot/ lowes I guess where they have no problems with company cards.
Great service, the salespeople are on the ball and always willing to help. The cashiers are friendly and smiling, and the management team is the best. Wouldn't go any where else. If they don't have it they will go the mile to get it for you.
I don't usually post. But I walked into a 99% empty store, and I saw 3 employees 20 feet from the front door. I was in a hurry so this was great. I stood there looking for which direction the mower tires were, I got NO help. NO can I help you, nothing but they didn't lower their voice. I guess they thought that would make them invisible. So I just started walking through the store till I found what I needed.
Unexpected sale on Adirondack chairs. I was in wrong car to transport. I bought some and they are holding them for me. Great people
I Work near this location. I’ve been going there for about eight years buying tools for my business. I recognize pretty much all the employees there. I spend a lot of money there. I go at least once a week or more. They now treat me like a criminal. When I buy things over $500 they take down my name phone number and they take pictures of my drivers license. I have never returned a single thing to Northern tool. I don’t think they should be storing my personal information. It’s just a risk of identity theft. I’ll buy my more expensive items elsewhere where I’m not treated like a criminal and my personal information is safe.
Won’t be shopping here anymore due to the rude parts and service guy. First he was called to come to the parts counter didnt show. Then after 10min of waiting another associate call him and again no show. Finally after 20min of standing there somebody went and got him from his hiding spot in the back only for him to give me attitude for making him come do his job. Sad, really like the equipment they have but would rather deal with the nice people at Tractor Supply from now on.
I bought 2 pressure washers from this particular Northern Tool, 1- 7 months ago, 1- 5 weeks ago and both of the pumps kept overheating. So I called them about their warranty on the pumps and they asked me to bring it in, so i did. Let me remind you my pumps were still in working condition but with them overheating they weren't going to stay in working condition. Everyone in that store was rude to me and didn't want to help me from the moment i stepped foot in there. 3 weeks passed so I called them about the warranty repair and the guy very rudely told me the warranty only covers manufacturer defects, so they weren't covered under the warranty, they needed a new pump which I have, so I went to pick them up today and he tore these pressure washers down to 100's of pieces, tore them completely apart and had a box full of 100's and 100's of small piece parts. I dropped these off fully intact. They refused to put them back together, I don't even know if I have all the parts. I paid them a $80 to check the warranty, and now I'm stuck with a box full of junk because of what they did to my pressure washers. I paid $2500 for these and they didn't last 5 weeks before overheating. This location and everyone, including the store manager are trash, rude, I'm in a much worse position now than I was before calling them. My pressure washers were working before i took them, now I have boxes of piece parts, and the parts aren't even all there. Thanks Northern Tool TRASH in White settlement.
The folks at this location are always helpful and professional. This is the main store I do business with, and I always have a pleasant experience. Thanks to the employees for doing a good job!
Went to pick the inverter/generator. Called first and they checked to make sure it was in stock, once i got there first employee that saw me ask if I needed help . And after asking i found out they had already pulled the unit to the front and was ready for pick up . Overall great phone and in-person service..
Such a poor experience this past time. I usually love Northern tool, but this time was just garbage. I went during my lunch break just to pick up a few things and stroll the aisles. While shopping I was greeted by 4 different employees, all helpful and kind, not overbearing, but all of them telling me about the special if I signed up for their credit card. I kindly decline and they graciously let me continue my shopping. Not a bad bother. I get to the front register, product in hand, and the person in front of me is signing up for the store credit card. 25 minutes pass and there is now a line of 6 of us waiting for this credit card deal to go through. No one else is even interested in our presence. So I walk out in a huff leaving everything at the register. If you want to just sell credit cards Northern Tool, get out of the tool and hardware business. I really could care less about financing my next set of hardware on 25% interest. And you sold me nothing that day, so enjoy that commission on a credit card sale.
