The Northern Warren Fire Dept. provides fire and emergency medical services to approximately 5,500 residents located in Polk, Warren and Dallas County.
Founded in 1941, our department came together as the Bloomfield Township Fire Dept. Our first location was located at SW 9th and Army Post Rd. in Des Moines. Our department recently moved to a more adequate location and a facility that better fitted our needs. We provide fire suppression and emergency medical care to residents and visitors within our fire district.
Our ultimate goal is to preserve life and protect property. We do so by providing our personnel with the most up-to-date training, so that all members are able to respond and appropriately handle any situation that may arise.
