Unfortunately, this is pretty much a dead mall. It's too bad because the interior is really cool -- it clearly hasn't been updated since the 80s. It would look even cooler if all of the fixtures were filled with water, as intended, and the neon lights around the ceiling were turned on, but I guess since the mall is dead, they don't see a point. I wish a few more stores would open up in the mall because it would be a great place to hang out.
Even if this mall is lacking in store fronts this mall has an incredibly gorgeous structure and should be valued. It captures the very soul of the 90s and I love everything about it. In a world where retail is on the decline I can’t help but love this older mall and it will forever be my favorite place to shop/hangout at.
Love the old retro vibe but all the stores are empty
We used to stop here all the time on cross-country trips and it was still pretty healthy about 6 1/2 years ago. Seeing it this dead is pretty sad. Even though most of the fountains don’t work it’s clear that the maintenance and janitorial staff are doing their best and I’m giving it four stars out of nostalgia and because of the hard work that the janitorial staff is obviously putting in.
It is so empty, compared to years past. The village of Bradley is culpable, with outrageous taxes for stores. Not only that, the ONE store we went for, the rock store, was closed when we went there at 7:30 on a Friday night.
Empty! Really sad! The only reason we would come here was for Konsai & their customer service has been awful, so we avoid it like the plague. They need to make this a hotel/Waterpark resort like Great Wilf lodge or something similar!
I worked at this mall from 2001 to 2015 we cleaned the fountains by the food court they were beautiful then the mangers covered them up in 2013 an cut down the palm trees .
More than 80% empty. A few of the stores that said open at 11 were not open. I have some suggestions to the mall owner that might revitalize this mall. 1 put in more inviting/ seating, especially in the food court. Try to create a cafe effect in this area of the mall. 2 try to attract a couple of large stores. Re-do this store area front to look like a strip mall on the outside facing route 50. 3 Try to attract several restaurants on the south end of the mall. Subsidize these restaurants with a shuttle from the nearby hotels.
The mall is basically abandoned. I only saw a couple stores that were open. They need to update what's in the mall. The store I was looking for moved out in November.
Pretty desolate mall. I enjoy the aesthetics and the natural lighting of the mall though. I hope this mall stays open as I like to visit it every now and then.
