It is a nice theater, not crowded, theater seats were a somehwat uncomfortable/didn't lean back. There wasn't anyone taking tickets or guiding you where to go...maybe that's normal now? But, we got our tickets at concession stand w/ no issues & then just wondered down either section of the theater to find the one with our movie playing. No titles above each theater, idk it was a little strange but it wasn't terrible. We split up & saw two different movies, myself and others saw a regular format movie and sound and picture quality was great. Others saw one in 3D & they enjoyed the movie even w/ the glasses. Bathrooms were clean, whole place was clean & wasn't too cold. I didn't eat or drink anything, but others did & said it was fresh, drinks were good too.
The movie was great. No problem with the auditorium at all. The concession stand was crazy. The line was extremely long. It took longer than normal because they didn't have anyone selling tickets up front. If you wanted to buy tickets you had to do it at the concession stand. Many wernt even bothering to do that. Instead just walking in.
This location is conveniently located behind Northgate Mall with ample, close parking. Due to the many specials they have, and the Stubs Club, you can be movie regular at affordable prices. Stubs club members receive points toward rewards and get discounted tickets on Tuesdays. The 2022 popcorn bucket is a great deal as you pay about $21 once and then every refill is only $4.99 for the entire year.. It is a huge bucket that will easily take care of 3 or 4 people. They have friendly staff and do an excellent job of cleaning in between show times. Very clean theatre. We saw Sonic2 with the grandkids and it was delightful to hear the laughter of kids and adults alike. Highly recommend.
The staff are nice. The theater is clean, well maintained, and high quality. The food is good and high quality as well. However it is a little pricy. You can get a decent amount of free food if your a AMC Stubs member. It is busy very often and lines can be long. The previews last a while before the movie starts, usually 30 to 45 minutes.
My husband and I went to see The Sound of Freedom. The staff was friendly and we had a great experience. It's nice on a hot or rainy day to go to the big screen in air conditioning and watch a great movie.
There was plenty of parking and the line was quick but have been there when there is quite the line and not enough staff. My chair was comfortable. The floors were not as sticky as usual. The staff was friendly to us. Will go again.
After being a loyal customer of Northgate Movie Theatre for 15 years, I regretfully have to say that tonight will be my final visit. While the staff has always been great, my past five trips have been plagued by recurring problems. I've encountered offset movie screens, flickering screens, busted speakers that made it hard to hear the movie, and freezing or non-existent air conditioning. On top of that, there have been groups of disruptive teenagers hanging around, causing disturbances inside the theater and in the hallways. It's disheartening to have to bid farewell, but these ongoing issues have made it impossible to enjoy my movie-going experience.
Myself, along with several other teachers took some High School students to the theater . This was a fun time outing reward for their hard work in school. It was approximately 50 of us in our group along with about 400 -600 other students. Say what ! The theater took time to process us into the facility. We then proceeded to enter the refreshments stand along with 400-600 other students. You know they had to have their popcorn and traditional . The line was moving slow. It was moving steady. Would we make the movie in time ? Guess what we did . Shout out ! No need to sweat. The management and, staff did an outstanding job providing customer service. They can accommodate you or your groups with no delay, and send you on your way. Everyone enjoyed the and other accommodations. I Chatt Town Mr.C.
Watching the new Indiana Jones in a realistic and lifelike environment. I almost felt like I was in Tangier with Indy due to the awful body odor smell of theater and the 80°+ temp from having a broken AC unit. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the snacks were fresh.
I used to frequent AMC, like alot of people, post COVID has changed my cinema habits a bit. Between costs etc Not to long ago I made my first trip back to the cinema in a long time, and was quite looking forward to it...I don't think I'll ever go back, it did nothing to change my post C-19 mind. The staff is friendly enough, but the rest? Well....outrageous costs aside you pay the the experience , right? , the sound was so loud the speakers were constantly spiking with static and pops they were probably blown, truth be told, the video was off centered from the screen literally projected onto the curtains in part and the entire room smelled of urine. The whole thing only served to remind me, my home system is a superior experience in every way, even when it comes to having a "night out". I'll just go out with friends and family, then when it's time for the film, we'll retire to a quality HD screen, a good sound system, disturbance and smell free.
