Northridge Cinemas

Been coming to this theater since I was a kid, long before all of the added screens and upgrades. These days I prefer going on the weekdays in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and this occasion was no different. We went to watch Guardians of the Galaxy part 3. It was a 2:35 showing on a Tuesday. There was no wait to show our tickets. The theater and restrooms were clean. The smell of fresh popcorn permeated the air.

The reclining seats here are much more comfortable than those at Maya's. Highly recommend signing up for the Cinemark movie rewards club, constant deals, and free movie tickets as you stack up points. I also ordered my food online and skipped the lines. The only theater in town that sells adult beverages and the only ones that layer the butter on your popcorn. Close to the mall so it attracts a lively crowd on weekends, and it's usually pretty chill on weekdays for those wanting to avoid the crowds. Love this theater

It is so much better than what it was years ago. More options to choose from from the snack bar. Seats are way more comfy. Different size theaters are a plus. And much more handicap accessible.

Worst customer service. They had a power outage on 7/9 at about 3:30pm and was told by the employees to come back tomorrow to get a refund. Came the next day 7/10 and all the employees were unsupervised because the “managers are in a meeting”. One employee said he called his manager in the meeting but no one came down. Waited about 15-20min in the lobby until one manager passed by and was stopped by the employee. I was then told by the manager that I could not get a refund because it was passed the show time. I told her I was aware of the policy but had asked about it to the employee the day before and was told it would be ok. I also told them I tried to refund them online right when I found out about the power outage but the website stated “unable to connect to theater”. Odalys stated that “that’s on her, on the employee” for stating I could come get a refund the next day. All I was given was the corporate number. I called and was approved for a refund in under a minute. Now have to wait 6-7 days for the refund in my account if it’s true. Also, wasn’t given any other compensation.

Everything was great except the theater we were in had no air conditioning. It was soooo hot in there, the theater was full and it was miserable. This was my first visit and as much as we loved the luxury seats which I would come back for we won’t be back because it was SO HOT!!

My husband and I went to see "The Sound of Freedom," Excellent movie, go see it. Theater was clean, seats are amazing, as you can recline, put your feet up. Most definitely will be back.

This theater is not what it used to be. Where's the refills on popcorn and sodas? The cardboard food trays? The good nacho cheese? I get that covid required changes but now their just lagging behind. I used to prefer cinemark over the local Maya Cinemas but they keep downgrading their offerings.

My movie was cancelled and they told me I could get a refund through the app but it didn't let me. The day they cancelled the movies there was a power outage and the employees kept saying you could get a refund online. What a lie. I contacted them about it the next day and the woman who answered the phone was very rude, wouldn't let me finish explaining to her. She kept telling me where to go in the app. I kept telling her it wasn't allowing me to get a refund. Basically she said online was the only way to get my refund and if it wasn't letting me well too bad. I was very frustrated and had to contact my bank so I could get a refund because Cinemark wasn't willing to refund my money for a movie they cancelled. Never going here again.

Their seats are amazing! I like that it has a little table. I like their soda machines that are on the outside and have so many flavors to choose from.

Nice theater. Took family to watch Tom and Jerry and filled the whole row! Seats are big, comfy and recline with a tray attached for your drinks and snacks. Concessions was pretty chaotic and ice creams weren't fully frozen coming out of freezer.
