The NHS Beta Club is an academic and service organization that is heavily involved in community service. Beta members are required to maintain a 3.0 overall average and participate in Beta functions throughout the year. Beta Club participates in many large community service projects such as Relay for Life, Slidell Beautification, Basin Foundation Beach Sweep, and Toys for Tots. Beta also conducts various fundraisers to benefit its community. In addition, Beta members provide a homework resource lab for fellow NHS students after school in the NHS library.
