Arrived at 710 for lab work..site says open at 7. Front desk says the lab opens at 730, tech doesn't show up till 736. 750 I'm called in only to be asked what doctor ordered labs, even though its clearly in my files, she then proceeds to tell me she can't do all the labs ordered. Total waste of my time. Have no clue why they continue to have a lab at this site nothing changes.
I arrived at this location at approximately 4:10 this afternoon. Registered and was told to wait and someone would be with me soon. There were several people ahead of me and many came in after me. I waited until 4:55 before I left. No one else was left in the room but me. I asked if they were closing and was told my name was in and should be called soon. THERE was no one else left to call but me. NO explanation just goodbye I will not return to that location again unless there are no other choiceslong time patient of this system
First and last time coming here. No one is working just running their mouth came for blood work and have been waiting over an hour and it's only two patients including myself. This is unbelievable
I’ve been going here for years and doctor seyfret as been dealing with me for 4 years now? But he listens and tries what he can to help with referrals or labs. My boyfriend brother and friend go to him as well :
They don't take blue cross blue sheld community insurance that's fine but we wanted to pay out of pocket for visit still refused by front desk don't understand why .
Messaged my doctor due to some issue I was having. Kimberly B. Midwife called me back and asked if I would like to come in and be seen for peace of mind. My visit with her was great! She did a phenomenal job and was very kind! She told me the truth but said it in a way that didn't make you go into a full panic mode. She is a great asset to Northshore and they are so lucky to have her.
Appointment canceled after having been scheduled for over 2 weeks. There were no issues brought up during check-in. 10 minutes after the scheduled time they decided they could no longer honor the appointment and suggested to go to urgent care which was closed for the day. Can't believe a doctor would make you wait for 2 weeks to see him to only say, "go to urgent care" afterwards. I'm finding a new practice.
I’ve been coming to this location for months and the check-in is remarkably fast. I usually come to this location for lab work only. I’ve seen many different phlebotomists for the past 8 years but I’ve never seen someone like Kristin: great attitude, friendly, positive, loves what she does, loves her patients and on top of that she always double checks my name, date of birth and what type of blood work we are doing for the day. On top of everything, I get no bruises at all. That’s why she deserves 5 stars and I hope she is recognized for the great work she does for her patients.
I found some of the staff being quite rude and reluctant to answer some questions which was clearly evident by the impatient tone of the nurse. The seeing doctor actually told us in reply to one of our questions that we need to make a separate appointment and pay for it. They were nice at first and made sure that payment for any treatments is processes, but that's where "patient care" ended. They at no point even offered to sign release to share lab results with the family, even though clearly the patient was visiting with a spouse. Overall pretty disappointed with their service, it seems all they care about is getting paid. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
This review is pertaining only to my most recent visit, where I saw Dr. Burke. This was my second follow up after being diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia by her very attentive and, thankfully, observant colleague. I came in after having been on antibiotics and steroids for a week because I was still having issues breathing, experiencing extreme fatigue, and having some sharp pains when taking a deep breath. Dr. Burke began our appointment with a comment that I was making my rounds seeing everyone on staff, then very impatiently reacted to the issues I was experiencing, as if I were a fool who had expected a miracle cure overnight. I'm not, but I expect to have improved more than I did over the course of a week, and expect respectful medical attention when I report that I cannot breathe well. She sent me for a follow-up chest x-ray and advised that the results showed considerable improvement from the original a week prior; I was grateful that the pneumonia was technically clearing, but still concerned about ongoing, considerable issues and what to do about them. She proceeded to tell me that a cough could take weeks to get over from pneumonia and wrote me a prescription for a cough suppressant. My complaints were not pertaining to coughing, as I hadn't been doing much of it: they were that I was having a hard time taking a full breath and had some sharp pains, was getting lightheaded, and was extremely fatigued. When I asked her when I could expect to start feeling better--I have already been off work for a week and am out of sick days--she abruptly and rudely said, "what did I just say to you?" referring to the cough timeline she provided, but which did nothing to address my actual concerns, as if I were a child who hadn't been paying attention rather than a competent adult following up on an important question that hadn't actually been answered. I was too shocked by how rude she became, I didn't push back on getting more answers and just wanted to leave. Today, I had to go back to my primary care doctor for medical attention because of a prolonged feeling of near loss of consciousness; this meant more money and time spent, and an unnecessary delay in the process toward feeling better. Based on my experience, Dr. Burke would be better suited for a career a a prison warden than a physician who requires compassion toward ailing patients. If you come to this Immediate Care Center--and you should, because the rest of the staff is great!--ask at check in which physicians are on staff that day. If they say it's Dr. Burke, turn around and leave.
