This was my second time there at your West Islip facility. In fact, I believe I had the same doctor last time. My impression this time was the same as my first visit. A smooth transfer from reception to treatment. There was no lengthy waiting period. The front desk confirmed my information and had me go into the treatment room. The assistant came in and took my vitals and reviewed my reason for the visit. Shortly after the doctor came in, went over my symptoms and when it started. She was friendly and easy to talk with. She prescribed me some medication. Confirmed that I wanted a Covid test. And best of all, the medications prescribed worked!!!
Easy to make same day appointment. Originally, needed upper/lower congestion and severe cough treatment for illness that began 5 days prior. Staff and on site Doctor was very detailed in my examination and informative. A covid rapid test was negative results however, Doctor also performed a PCR test. As a result, 24 hours later, those results were positive. Because of that decision doing an alternative test, I was able to inform my school district employer, protect myself from further exposure and receive possible additional treatment as discussed. It's vital that dual tests be performed regardless and especially for persons as myself with co-morbidities as well as age 60+. As I do have a regular PCP, it's comforting to know I can utilize my local Urgent Care Center for my medical care.
Co-ordinates and organized. Appointment had basically no wait time. Professional and friendly staff. Would recommend always.
Better than any other urgent care I have been too .Very efficient polite treat you special and they know what they are doing !
The PA, Jennifer Fincke, was very reassuring, concise, empathetic and helpful. She made me feel validated about my medical concern and provided comprehensive instructions on how to fix my problem.
The dr's have been wonderful with me. My first visit the girls at check in was so helpful. This time I wasn't as pleased with the gentleman at the front desk. I would still go back should I need to.
One of the best urgent cares I’ve been to. The whole space is clean and obviously well cared for. And the staff have always been so helpful, especially the front desk. Will be coming back in the future for sure.
I Appreciate the entire experience. Great staff, attentive and professional. Not to mention the modern, clean environment is a bonus.
My regular family doc was off. I'm usually leery of urgent cares but the physician here was very helpful and thorough.
I have been there many times, since there is a long wait time to see my primary care dr. I have always been seen quickly and have gotten excellent care.
