STAY AWAY! Wanted to go in for a dental cleaning but was asked for X-rays first along with an examination. They seem rather pushy in "recommending" services that would push the bill higher. For example, I was being sold into getting ~$400 for minor fillings. Furthermore, I wasn't charged on the day of the appointment, but now I have an insurance bill pending for $75. I've had multiple dental cleanings in the past, but never have paid a dime for it thanks to my great insurance provider/coverage. Based on older reviews, it seems like I'm not alone. Please avoid this practice and save time and cost.
CHECK YOUR BILL!!! Compare your insurance bill with what they charge!!! They will sleek in some extra bucks! Based on the review, it turns out this has happened with numerous patients. I'm questioning if it's really a mistake. 5 Star for the surgeon and the clinicians. They were friendly, kind, and very patient with me. I rarely give bad reviews, but this place is absolute mess. 1 star for the customer service. Probably one the very few customer service I have experienced that was this bad and I truly mean it. I had surgery done and was charged an amount which turned out to be couple hundred more than what I actually owed based on insurance bill. After some back and forth with the insurance company and the dentist office, it turned out there was an error. The customer service said insurance *supposedly* covered more than it originally should and therefore I was charged more. Strange how I see other patients with the exact same experience The customer service's attitude was awful. They I wont say who asked why I had to call the insurance company first to check why the bill I was charged vs what the insurance charged are different. They further asked what my reason was for opening a "claim" with my insurance. And after, they said "we would have been able to take care of the issue in a minute without having to get insurance involved.", and said it made things harder for them and that I shouldnt be doing it in the future. Complete nonsense. Their excuse was error on insurance bill, no apologies for the error, but in return - a condescending attitude. Whether whatever they were saying were true or not they said they will be processing a refund for the amount that was overpaid. Okay sure, I'm okay as long as I get my money back. 3 weeks later, still didnt get the refund. Emailed them asking for update on the progress. Got a response saying they did what they are supposed to do and suggested to wait until the refund shows up on my statement. I'll give it a week or so and will just proceed with a dispute if I dont see the balance on my statement very annoying. Apparently, there were many others with the same or similar issues which is a huge red flag why not to get serviced with them. If customer service is your priority, I'd say look for different options. Customer service is very much in question. Also, you will likely deal with appointment reschedule issues. They would just reschedule your appointment time/day one day before the scheduled date and wouldnt even notify you properly. Again, no apologetic gestures for the change. Do yourself a favor and avoid them for your own good. Your time and money is valuable.
Dr. B and Kennedy were amazing in helping me with my tooth that lost its cap. I have very bad anxiety at dentist due to bad past experience but, they both made me feel calm and reassured. They set up a plan to take care of my tooth and some other things that were affected. Customer service was excellent and I felt heard when I list my concerns. If you’re looking for a new dental practice and a great dental team, I wouldn’t hesitate booking with Northwest Austin Dental. Sandi Trullinger
I always feared going to the dentist, but my visit here was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and comforting. Dr. Kuknooru was super nice and explained everything really well. My gums feel so much better after my cleaning. Looking forward to the next one!
Most people fear going to dentist, however my experience at Northwest Austin Dentist was amazing the folks there are always so nice and helpful when I go into the office. They always explain my procedure well, usually having no questions. Best service.
I recently had a procedure and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The dentist, Dr. Bulsara, did an amazing job. The dental assistant, Kennedie, and Dr. Bulsara worked to ensure that I remained comfortable during the procedure. Never before have I felt so supported while in a dental office. Thank you Northwest Austin Dentists!
I think Norwest Austin does an excellent job guiding me through the process of getting x-rays, cleanings, and other dental work within my budget and insurance. They really made the process simple with friendly helpful staff. They are very professional. I recommend them.
Northwest Austin Dentists is great. I’ve been coming here for a while and I’m super happy with the care I’ve gotten. The hygienist Osama is awesome! He’s super gentle and makes you as comfortable as possible. Dr. K and Dr. Bulsara are also super cool and very attentive.
All the staff at Northwest Austin Dentists are very professional, punctual and attentive. I’ve had several services done with them from a root canal to cleaning and even oral surgery for an impacted wisdom tooth. Dr. Bulsara was not only very patient, but also informative and answered any questions I had during the process of my crown and cleaning. Dr. Lin had great table side manners and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my oral surgery. He was precise and quick during the procedure. Dr. Granados performed my root canal and eased my nervousness with reassurance. I experienced zero pain in his care. The office manager, Valerie, explained my benefits and options throughly. She was well informed and courteous. Overall, I’d highly recommend Northwest Austin Dentists!
Always a friendly experience with expert doctors and well trained hygienists. I especially enjoy working with hygienist Kennedie Guerrero and Dr. K, who make me feel welcomed every time I sit in their chair. Tiffany at the front desk is also extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and is always willing to work with me in terms of scheduling appointments.
