My husband and I took our grandson to the ER and there was a nurse named Kathy Jenkins. He was running a fever, very high, very irritated because he was so sick but she was so patient very sweet they’re accommodating.. she made sure he had Kleenex for his nose he, she gave him Pedialyte so that he could get his electrolytes up. in my opinion she is what a nurse supposed to be caring, loving and compassionate thank you Miss Jenkins for making us feel comfortable that you would take care of our grandson
I was nervous to give birth to my son without my mom being present. She died earlier this year and I always felt she was my only supporter. I gave birth surrounded by the most awesome and loving nurses I've ever met. I was informed and well taken care of. I enjoyed my stay and I believe I made some friends. Impeccable bedside manner goes far!
This the worst hospital I've ever been to in my entire life. Everything in there is so old & antique. The TV Is 10 inches. My doctor admitted me there & when I got there they didn't even have a room to put me in. They stuck my arm 4 times trying to put an IV in me & hadn't took none of my vital signs. I was there 6 hours before they finally put me in a room. Then they didn't have no where for my husband to sleep. They finally brought him a chair to sleep in. I had been there two days and a doctor hadn't been around to check on Me.Only nurses coming in and out giving Me antibiotics in my IV. They had to take my IV out and run me another 1 because that one was no longer good & it had made my arm started hurting & breaking out. When the doctor finally came in the third day he only glanced at my problem & sent ne home with more antibiotics remind you I just paid to have a prescription filled for different antibiotics before I came there. Their service was terrible & the room was horrible. I wouldn't go back there to save my life!!!!
L&D, the post partum wing, and the nursery here are OUTSTANDING!! I was walked through every step of my delivery by wonderful nurses. My daughter received amazing care and they made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Sure, a few nurses seemed to be having bad days. 1-2 But all in all they were amazing to us. They even give a special meal before you leave to new parents that is to die for.
I was in the ER all night with my mom and the staff was the most caring, and amazing caregivers I’ve dealt with in a long time. They took the upmost care of my mom who had pneumonia and congestive heart. Terry Steward made me feel better knowing he was doing everything possible to reassure me everything would come together. The Doctor did a great job on her before she went to ICU for more care. And Terry S. and staff made sure I got breakfast and that I was informed on everything they did and why they did it to my mom. Just knowing this Hospital has employees like this ER, is a blessing. Thank You All!!
On Wednesday, February 9th my 94 year old mother had a appointment with Dr Mohammad Hadidi. When I arrived there and got my mom out the car and put her in the wheelchair she fainted in the parking lot. I got in a panic because, people were passing by us not asking did we need help including the nurses that was outside at the building across the parking lot. Even my own race Africa American were parking by us and getting out there cars not saying a word to us. I stopped one lady was kind enough to go in the hospital for me to get help. With that being said two white nurses from the foot dr on the 1st floor came to the door and stood in the door looking out at us. She came and told me what the nurses said. She said that they said that they couldn't come outside where we was, that we needed to go to the hospital. Well how in the hell was I going to do that, when my mother was still slightly unconscious. Who was going to help me lifted her up and put her in the car my two year old grand son. My mother could have died, All I needed was some cold water. I THANK GOD FOR BEING WITH US ON THAT DAY!! I THOUGHT NURSES SUPPOSED TO SAVE LIVES
Don't go to this hospital unless you want to DIE. I took my baby here after we were in a car wreck. They discharged us a little while later telling me that my baby was ok. When I got home and tried to feed him, he started vomiting everything. He wasn't able to keep anything down. I called the nurse to ask if I could take him back to get checked again. She started yelling at me very RUDELY like if she was my mom or something. Telling me that she couldn't tell me how to feed my child, just going on and on without listening to what I was trying to say. So I took him to Le Bonheur and found out after a CT scan that he had a brain hemorrhage. My son could have died. So if this nurse reads this. I hope she learns to do her job better and listen to people to really help. You have to love your job and if you don't love it then what exactly are you doing there trying to kill people. It upsets me so much that if I would've just listened to her and stayed home trying to keep feeding my son, my baby would've died.
Dr. Caesar and the labor and delivery department as well as the newborn nursery were amazing. They took excellent care of me and I was very well informed of every procedure taking place. The nurses in the NICU kept me updated on the progress of my premi & gave her so much love & attention! I'd highly recommend !
I went here two years ago for severe abdominal pain I later learned it was a bad life threatening infection. I was in the waiting room in pain for four hours into the night, then a doctor came in and asked me three simple questions and walked out on me. Nothing further whatsoever. He stayed gone for thirty minutes and then a nurse came to give me a urine test and I got my results back, which was the wrong diagnosis and the prescription they gave me made my infection worse so I had to go to another hospital where I got proper tests and treatments and got better. I don’t recommend this place unless you want to die, get a wrong diagnosis with the high bill and so forth I could’ve died if I didn’t go elsewhere. Thanks a lot.
My fiancé has had bad service for lots of months, but the treatment was satisfactory. The treatment is catching up to the service. They made her sit for often several hours before treatment and then that was less than satisfactory. She's a trained CNA so of course she has some knowledge of medical treatments after often assisting for over 25 years. Her's has fallen grossly short of where even an intern's level should be. This is not 21st Century medical treatment conduct.
