The movers were very nice, and did a good job hauling our stuff down three flights of stairs, and across the state from Eugene to Portland. We did have a problem with them arriving in Portland 2 hours later than us, so maybe if you have specific time frames that you’re working with, let them know ahead of time. They were willing to compensate us for the inconvenience, so we can definitely say that they’re good people, and we enjoyed working with them. They have good work ethic, and we would recommend them for a local move.

Even though we booked last minute, who wants to unload after a 1000 miles in a Uhaul, Glenn and his partner showed up promptly and on time, were professional, courteous, careful and worked efficiently. We moved a 2 bedroom 15’ truck which they had unloaded very quickly. We were quite impressed. They didn’t even groan at my multiple boxes of books! Their rates are extremely reasonable even last minute, compared to other moving companies, and I can assure anyone that is nervous about “You get what you pay for”, as was I, will be more than happy with Northwest Moving.

Deserves zero stars, movers never showed up. No call, no show. First time I’ve been ghosted by guys I wanted to pay. I made an appointment for 2 movers, 16ft truck for 3 hours 2.5 weeks ahead of time, complete with a confirmation email. Called when they were 30 min late and left a message, Never heard back. Talk about making an already stressful day 10 times worse. Fortunately, I didn’t pay them a deposit. It Just cost me the stress of having to find a trailer, truck and spending 2 days on something that should have lasted 3 hours.

0 stars! Northwest Moving never showed up when they said they would and wouldn’t answer my calls or messages. I clearly should have read their reviews first because this seems to be common for them to do. How can a business even run like this? If Pro Movers wasn’t willing to go out of their way the way they did to move my stuff when everywhere was booked because it was last minute and on the weekend, I would have seriously been screwed. Never posted a bad review like this but others need to be warned!

We had a 28 -foot trailer that was about 2/3 full of our belongings. We had it barged down from Alaska and hired the two man team from NW Moving Company to unload it. They were on time, worked efficiently, and most of all, had experience unloading those trailers. Things are packed tight and cinched down to keep things from shifting. There is a lot of tension and it is important to unpack things so that nothing goes flying. They did an expert job. I highly recommend them.

I I wish there was a way to leave negative Stars. I hired them a week before the move date, I confirmed the day before the move date, all is set. I texted them 20 minutes after their 6pm booked arrival time, called them 45 minutes after the booked arrival time, no answer. Finally got a text saying they would get back to me within a minute about the time they would be arriving. 30 minutes later a call at 8 p.m from some woman saying the movers are out of town and do we still really need help? Yeah that's exactly what she said. I didn't hire movers because I didn't " feel" like moving myself. I hired movers because I'm physically not capable of lifting and carrying furniture due to foot surgeries yes,plural. Needless to say I was left scrambling to find somebody after 8 p.m. on a Saturday, the night before Father's day, who would show up to help load and unload a moving truck for a perfect stranger. My favorite part of the whole day was the after 11 pm text from Andrew the Mover asking if I got all moved or did he need to come the next morning. I haven't calmed down enough to answer that text. I'm only partially moved, I had the kind strangers I found on Facebook just move the heavy things. I'll probably be moving the rest over the next two weeks, after work, the little that I can do each day. Hire anybody else anybody at all! Do not hire this company

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. I booked online through their website on 4/8/2019, my move would be on 4/15/2019. I had reserved the rental truck already as well. I received the email confirmation, but had not been contacted by the company by Sunday the day before the move so I tried calling them, no answer but a voice message. I left a message asking them to confirm with me that they were going to be here. I used the chat bubble to message them, their facebook page & another phone number I found on HireHelper. I waited most of the afternoon & noticed that some had answered back via the chat bubble "We will be there". Great! Awesome! So Monday I went to pick up the truck as planned & expected them @10AM. NO cal, No Show! I am frantic to I tried to contact them by every means possible & no response. I had to call around & find someone last minute. Fortunately a guy on Craigslist, Andrew, said he could do it! Saved! I am on disability, a fixed income & am moving to another state because I can't afford to live here. Every cent is needed & I could not afford to take the loss on the truck, just to turn around & have to do it again. IDK why they could not have just said No the day before & saved me the stress. DO NOT HIRE! You will be disappointed & left hanging. It is now 5PM & still no one has returned my calls
