I had a really bad experience with Dr. Duke recently and I want to share my review. There were several issues that made me unhappy: 1. Disregard for previous surgery recovery: The doctor didn't seem to care about my previous surgery and how I had recovered from it. It made me question their empathy and attention to patients. 2. Risky surgical recommendation: The doctor suggested a new surgery that involved cutting nerves in my uterus. The problem is that there was a 2% chance of permanent urinary problems. This made me worry about my future quality of life. 3. Prescription without checking my health history: The doctor prescribed Valium without asking about my medical background, even though addiction runs in my family. They said it wouldn't affect me much, but I ended up feeling out of it for two days and couldn't function properly. 4. Limited options and inadequate recommendations: When I asked for alternative medications, the doctor said Valium was the only choice. This lack of flexibility and consideration left me feeling frustrated. In conclusion, my overall experience with this doctor was really disappointing. They didn't seem to care about my past surgery, recommended a risky procedure, prescribed medication without considering my health history, and didn't offer any alternatives. I would advise caution when considering this doctor for your healthcare needs.
Wow! What an amazing experience! I've had decades of gyno and unrelenting gastrointestinal issues. As a matter of fact, my gastro gave up on me in June. PCP Referred to Coeur OB/GYN-1st appt Aug 7th. Referred here by Inland Pelvic Health in June. Saw Dr. Bond within 2 weeks of referal. Agreed to full hysterectomy. Surgery done Aug 1st by Dr. Duke. Within 12 hours post-op surgery my gastrointestinal issues cleared up at least 50%. 2 weeks later, I'm almost completely healed. Thank you!
All of the staff was amazing I love how it was a comfortable environment and everybody showed that they enjoyed their jobs, they were very good at what they did. I felt comfortable during my whole visit and exam that I had to have. I loved that my nurse who took me back to my room was professional but at the same time could joke around and make things not be so tense, it made me feel like I wasn't at a hospital
Absolutely love the health care professionals and nurses at NW! Highly recommend to anyone needing that additional care with their medical needs! Truly greatful for my doctor and being able to help me during this time! I have seen 9 doctors this past year and NW has been one of the very best!
Doctor Young was my last ditch effort at trying to get my pelvic pain under control. I had been told by three other providers and one fertility specialist that the pain I was experiencing was “just apart of being a girl”. In one case a doctor who was doing a pelvic exam had to catch me falling off the table when I passed out due to the pain. He had the same response of that the pain I was experiencing was “normal”. The only answer any doctor had recommended was hormonal birth control to get my periods more manageable. Being in a situation of pursuing fertility this was never a good option. My experience with Doctor Young was nothing like that. She was the first doctor I felt truly listened to me, and the first to tell me my symptoms weren’t normal. She gave me a flood of information, took the time to explain it clearly, provided printed material for me to read and back up what she was saying and gave my lots of options. The first recommendation being surgery, but also options like diet and physical therapy that no other doctor had resources for even when I asked for them. I ended up having surgery where I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis. I had been suspicious of endo but told by all four prior doctors that I didn’t have the disease, it was rare and that it would be a “waste of time and money” to go looking for it. Doctor Young is what other doctors should strive to be. She is extremely knowledgeable, treats each case as an individual and truly listens to her patients. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and gift of care that Doctor Young and her supporting staff gave me. I recommend her to any woman struggling with chronic pain, know you aren’t alone, your pain isn’t normal and no you are not crazy.
My experience here has been amazing! Every single person working here has greeted me with a smile and only kindness. They are very soft en gentle with everything they do and help you with d everything too. Dr Duke is phenomenal and I’m so glad I was able to have my endometriosis surgery with him and that he truly listened to me and made sure it’s not only in my head. I have stage 4 endometriosis and he was able to take out as much as possible and keep my fertility. I traveled 14 hours just to have surgery with Dr Duke. Recommend everyone to come here!
I had an amazing experience here! The office staff were kind and on top of things. The medical assistants were friendly and helpful. Dr. Duke was easy to interact with and very knowledgeable. I’ve had a hard time in the past with OB office communication and I did not experience that here. It was a relief! So happy I found this clinic.
Meeka Bond is one of a kind! She is so knowledgeable and kind and made my experience very comfortable. Chelsie her MA is also very upbeat and welcoming. I would definitely recommend women's care to one of my loved ones
I saw Dr. Duke yesterday for some unresolved health issues. He was able to help me understand what is going on and will be able to perform a surgery that will help my condition significantly. It is so refreshing to have instant validation and not have to feel like you have to fight for your care. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was feeling and what my symptoms were. He answered all of my questions and helped me feel like there is hope for living life without this much pain. I am looking forward to life after the surgery and so thankful that I found Dr. Duke. He is truly an expert when it comes to all things Endometriosis.
Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and showed compassion. They/Meeka takes time to listen to my concerns, explain options to me and makes a conscious effort to provide me with the best care possible.
