The mission of Northwestern Connecticut Community College is to inspire learning through accessible, high quality education. Northwestern is devoted to enriching lives by meeting individual and community needs in a supportive environment.
• NCCC offers associate degrees in art and in science in more than 25 disciplines. Broad areas of study include Fine Arts, Behavioral Sciences, Business & Management Administration, Computer Science & Educational Technology, The College of Techology (Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology Programs), Environmental Science, General Studies, Health Careers including Nursing, Liberal Arts & Sciences, Social Sciences and Veterinary Technology.
• NCCC offers programs of a shorter duration in each of the areas listed above, resulting in the awarding of a certificate. The certificate programs range from 6 to 32 credits, and some may be completed in as little as one year.
• Through its Workforce Development division, NCCC also offers a wide variety of credit-free specialist and certificate programs. Examples include Certified Nurse Aide, Complete Microsoft Office, Pharmacy Technician,Pre-Manufacturing Certificate, Emergency Medical Technician, and Real Estate, and MANY MORE!!
