Norton Airforce Base Museum in San Bernardino California is a terrific place to learn about the history, events, people and the important contribution that Norton Airforce Base was involved with and responsible for in serving The United States of America. Great displays, actual historic pieces and vintage memorabilia are there at the museum! The staff there is very knowledgeable and give the visitors an informative tour of the museum! There are some great photo ops here and outside the museum they have an actual section of The Berlin Wall! There is no charge to see this great museum and parking is free as well! Open Thursdays and Saturdays 10 AM-2 PM. . . . . #nortonairforcebase #seetheusa #nortonairforcebasemuseum #nortonafbmuseum #militaryhistory #usairforce #sanbernardino #berlinwall #sanbernardinomuseums #sanbernardino #sanbernardinointernationalairport #useful #ushistory #militaryaircraft #planesofinstagram #USA #norton
The museum is free and it's tiny, but there's a lot to look at. There's a section of the Berlin wall outside that's worth seeing. The airport terminal is closed on Saturdays. They have regular commercial flights out of there, but not on SaturdaysVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Nice small museum with excellent docents who provide tons of information. It's easiest to find if you turn in from 3rd street, otherwise you'll have to drive all the way around the building to find the museum entrance. The museum entrance faces north. They have tons of memorabilia and even a piece of the Berlin Wall!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The Norton Air Force Base Museum has been showcasing fascinating history related to the base since 2013. The exhibits feature a range of artefacts and photos related to former military and civilian personnel who worked at the base. You can tour the museum on your own or take a guided tour with a veteran who was once stationed at the base.
Great place and so mich antiques and history lacked in one little area and the volunteers are so nice and have ao much personal stories of when they were in service there!!
I highly recommend going to this place. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. They gave you a personal tour and showed you around. The people that took you on the tour are people who where in the air force and worked and lived on base. They had so much info and made me appreciate what the people who work to help protect us even more
Wife and I went to visit the museum and I was amazed at all of the historical pictures and items it had. I was stationed there for about 1.5 yrs and got out. Enjoyed my tour.
