We love this group!  We are new parents and after I had my baby I had to stay in the hospital with complications but our saving grace was Tori!  She was incredible with the baby’s first visit and when she found out the situation with me she was sure to check in on my husband and the baby to make sure they had support.  Tori is an incredible practitioner and any questions we have she answers quickly and she is extremely knowledgeable and caring!  The front desk was wonderful and set up all the future necessary appointments and were so friendly!

I am saddened to have to say that I am pulling my family from this practice. I brought my children to Norwich Pediatrics after having gone there myself. I started with Dr. Gus who sold his practice to Dr. Gelled, the owner of today’s Norwich Pediatrics. It has gone from a family friendly practice in which people are known and cared about to a large practice that no longer even attempts to help you when you have difficulties. I have had increasing issues over the past several years, but tried to work through things, as my kids were getting older. But, today was the last straw. My child and I were treated with disdain and a complete lack of compassion. By the end of our conversation, I wasn’t even looking for help any longer, just some type of acknowledgment that I was feeling frustrated. Staff couldn’t offer even the slightest emotional support to someone in a state of stress and worry about their child. I recommend you look somewhere else. It’s a big practice, so it can be hard to find something else, but I suggest you do the work to locate a place that actually cares about you and your children.

If I could put down one star I would. I brought my daughter there because she felt sick, and they questioned her without me being in the room, and told her to keep secrets from me. Anything that is medical should never be kept a secret from a parent. I was sent away with no communication or outcome of the flu/covid test that was taken. The only reason I went back is because my daughter started crying in the car because she's only 10 and nervous. When I asked for a call back on what was said, they said they would of had my daughter taken depending on her answers to their questions. I felt degraded, stereotyped, and haven't slept peacefully since then. NONE OF THEIR QUESTIONS WERE WARRENTED, AND HOW DARE YOU TELL MY CHILD TO KEEP SECRETS FROM ME. I will be pulling my two children out and seeking council.

I am so sad that this practice didn't meet expectations. It is a clean place. Mary Grace is a fantastic and caring NP. However there are a few cons with the practice. [1] The reception staff will yell from their desk instead of approaching you in the waiting room which is out of view from the reception desk. [2] The reception staff has a lack of continuity in record keeping. I have had to clarify and correct several things in their paperwork. [3] They appear in search results as a pediatric urgent care, but they are not. Which ties into [4], their "on-call nurse" is NOT based in Norwich, but somewhere in Ohio. You will be waiting a long time to hear back from them on a silent hold line. No wait music, no call back service, anything. Just waiting in limbo. [5] Long waits in the waiting room and in the exam room. A routine visit will take up more than an hour at the office while only being seen for a total of 5 minutes I have tracked the time.

I’ve gone here the majority of my life, I am 22 now. When I was younger I had a wonderful doctor, when she left, I continued to have bad experiences with all the others. From having my name mocked, weight shamed, for losing or gaining even a few pounds, threatened to have my medication taken away for those weight changes. With no discussion on reasons for weight changes or guidance on weight maintenance. I am now looking for a place that will use a holistic approach towards my health. Visiting this office caused me severe anxiety when I was growing up, if you or your child have any learning disabilities, mental health issues, etc I strongly recommend looking for a place that will treat you with respect at the bare minimum. This place seems to only work for people in perfect all around health. Not to mention the long waits, in the waiting room as well as once you’re taken in. As a former child patient of this office, I hope if you are a parent reading this that you will reconsider going to this office. I’m writing this in the hopes of preventing others from having harmful experiences.

I wish I could give zero stars. Reception booked my daughter an appointment a year ago, she went everything was fine. Booked her one for this year as it’s routine and they tried telling me we no call no showed for her appointment a year ago. So they apparently have no record of the whole visit we had with them last year. They are liars. Now I’ve been waiting a week to pick up her records… they are incompetent in that office, nurse rejects if you will. However, the dr my daughter seen was pretty great. Also Dr. Geller was my dr long long ago, I’m sure he wouldn’t appreciate any of that office staff!!!!!

The office staff is so incompetent that I started trying to bring my kids here in January or February I can’t even remember it’s been that long and now it’s august and I still haven’t gotten my kids in. I forgot who I made an appointment with July 30th because I received no reminder call because they recorded the wrong number for me. I called pediatricians in the area until I figured out this was the place I had made arrangements with in January or February. I had to call our Colorado provider twice to ask for records sent because they claimed they didn’t get my daughters information they again had no record of her when I called today. They said I couldn’t reschedule because I missed my first appointment that they basically pressured me into making over 6 months ago and it’s grounds for termination. I think the entire office staff is on grounds for termination and if the pediatrician is half as bad as the office staff is I feel severely bad for any child or parent who has to come here. Oh and by the way they won’t see your kid until they have received your records and interviewed you… please, these people are extremely delusional. Good thing my kids are NEVER sick, but now I have to find a pediatrician that can hurry and get my kids seen before school starts.

Office staff is always rude and treats you like you are bothering them when you show up for an appointment. They are also like this over phone calls  and it is a hassle to make an appointment. You think they would be welcoming knowing that they are the first people we see in the office.

Terrible pediatrician office. There only pro is they take Tricare. The cons are they are lazy, rude, claim to be short staffed which is a boilerplate excuse in the time of COVID, and are all around worthless. Doc McStuffins is a better doctor than the clowns at this office.

I’m not sure what happened there over the past few years but the office staff are very rude and act very entitled! They seem to forget their patients and the parents keep them having jobs and the office open! I’m tired of being lied too and given attitudes when I question things then they turn around and try and make you feel like your the one being problematic.A whole office sweep needs to be done if you want my opinion!
