Came in during lunch time and wanted to check this out. The place wasn't very busy so ordering was quick. I ordered calamari and clam chowder for the appetizer and a backyard burger with bacon. The margarita was served in low-ball cocktail class and was delicious. The calamari came with the clam chowder and were both good, not great. The burger arrived and was missing the bacon. While the server offered to bring me a side of bacon, and while that was certainly reasonable, the bacon should've been there in the first place. All in all, this was a good experience but not good enough to get more than 3 stars.
Really good food. Very clean. Nice atmosphere. It’s all good. They have a gluten-free menu which is really nice when your husband has celiac disease.
I stumbled upon this place never having heard of it. We were surprised at how good everything was. Check it out if you have a chance.
The bread and oil are absolutely on point an excellent starting point when waiting for the food. I ordered the entree sized chicken Caesar salad and left rather disappointed. The portion was barely larger than a side salad. I had 4 small thin pieces of chicken on top and the homemade croutons were days old so quite disgusting. What salvaged the dinner I had some of the BBQ meatloaf someone else ordered which was excellent and order that next time. My party really enjoyed their food and the service was excellent.
The food is consistently good, the staff is great and they are extremely accommodating with allergies and dietary restrictions. We had trouble deciding on a meal for my son and the server offered to see if they could make a variation of one of their menu items. The chef was able to accommodate the request and we had a very happy 2 year old! Every location has the same service so it is clearly important to the company. We have never had a bad experience and consider Not Your Average Joe's our go-to spot.
I had pizza from there a while back and it was really good so i decided to dine in last night with a friend. The bread and butter dip was really good! My friend ordered a burger, medium well. She got a burnt bun a rare patty, and cold fries. We sent it back and it was fine after that even though the fries were still cold. I ordered the jambalaya, shrimp on the side.. Didn't like the taste of the jambalaya. It had too much tomato paste and it tasted like it had been taken off the heat for too long after prep also not enough white rice so i ordered extra. The extra rice had carrots in it that were undercooked and again, tasted like it was kept off the heat for too long after prep. Maybe it was just a bad night. They were pretty busy but.. I have to say, I expected more since the place came highly recommended and the pizza i had from there before was delicious. Towards the end of our meal, our waitress was switched out by a waiter named Justin, and he gave us great service.
Good atmosphere. Kid friendly. Service was great. Good selection of food. Ordered the jambalaya and it was good, not the best I've tried though. Liked the pecan crusted salmon better; full of flavor. Will be back to try the other items on the menu.
Had an incredible dining experience here. The wait staff are super attentive. They give you delicious warm bread when you're seated. The food and drinks were both very tasty and well made. Did not have to wait too long for our dinner to come out, even on a very busy Friday night. Would recommend making reservations to avoid waiting if you plan on dining on a busy night. Worth the visit!
The staff was l pleasant to work with. With food allergies the manager came out and talked to us about how thungs are prepared and made sure we were comfortable with what they could do. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Our drinks never went completely empty. My burger was prepared perfectly and was huge. Our kids enjoyed their meals. Overall a good place for a meal on the town.
Food was hot. While I thought mine wasn't outstanding in taste, it was still good. My wife's meal was excellent to her. Bread was fresh. Only two small issues. We had to flag someone for more bread as our waitress was missing for an extended time. My dish was chipped in two places. Otherwise, very good.
