Los Cardones is a green hotel on solar that looks out onto the beach and is only a several minute walk to the water. There are four rooms. The two spacious upstairs rooms both sleep four with a king bed and two twin beds. Downstairs are two family suites that have king beds in the main rooms and a queen in a separate room. Perfect for putting the kids to bed while you sit on your patio sipping a margarita listening to the waves crashing on the beach. All rooms are spacious enough to fit portable cribs as well.
There is a communal kitchen for now until we have a fully operational restaurant. So each room will be assigned a cooler in the kitchen to store food. All we ask is that you clean up the kitchen after yourself. The kitchen is connected to the bar and dining area under the large palapa which is ideal for fun dinner parties. Very cool ambiance under the palapa and you have great views of the beach. It's magical. Then after dinner you can retire around the warmth of a blazing bonfire!
The property has just been revamped and reopened since the hurricane two years ago. New and improved! The rooms were just remodeled and have new furniture, mattresses, and luxurious high thread count bedding. Amenities are provided by the local Desert Soap Company. Los Cardones is also fully fenced and gated for your safety and security as well as your furry friends. We will accept well mannered dogs on a case by case basis for a small fee. We just ask and appreciate that you clean up after your pet. And there is a well behaved dog on site.
There are several restaurants within walking distance for lunch or dinner. We are adjacent to Freesouls Club. It's a casual upscale restaurant that has culinary delights from gourmet pizza, salads to steaks. My favorite part besides happy hour is the rooftop pool with gorgeous views of the beach. Great place to take kids. They can swim the night away. The Beach Club restaurant is close as is Napoli Pizza.
Exercising at Cerritos is a breeze also. Great for jogging on the dirt roads with incredible views and Baja Zen yoga is a bout a five minute jog up the road. Take a morning yoga class while gazing out at the whales breeching.
There will be a caretaker that lives on site to assist with check in's/out's and any needs you may have. But will be unavailable certain times of the day if the surf is good. And there are plenty of boogie boards and a soft board that can be loaned out for your day at the beach.
Los Cardones is a very tranquil place. Away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo. Lots to do. Hiking, swimming, surfing, and sand combing. You can even take a horseback ride on the beach. You will leave here refreshed, relaxed and even think of extending your trip.
We recommend having a car to get around unless you plan on staying at Cerritos your entire stay. There are several restaurants within walking distance but its nice to venture out a bit too. And pick up some groceries at Costco on your way from the airport.
Todos Santos is just up the highway about 10 minutes. Cute authentic Mexican town. Fun to check out for a day of shopping or dinner.
Cabo San Lucas is about 40 minutes to the south.
