Notre Dame School of Milwaukee consists of a K4-4 co-ed, dual language primary school and a college-prep 5-8 all girls middle school serving Latinos
Notre Dame School of Milwaukee is the city’s leading K4 through 8 Catholic school system located on the south side, in the heart of Milwaukee’s Hispanic community. We provide a unique learning environment empowering at-risk children to break through socio-economic and cultural obstacles. We are dedicated to advancing the educational, spiritual and overall well being of Latino children through small class sizes, Catholic faith formation, dual language instruction, fine arts, commitment to justice and leadership, and dedicated parental involvement. The school is committed to preparing each student for a blessed and fulfilling future. The system consists of Notre Dame Primary School and Notre Dame Middle School.
Sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame School (NDS) fosters respect, responsibility and sharing of personal talents while preparing students for admittance to a college preparatory high school. A Catholic school in an English and Spanish bi-literate setting, NDS puts an emphasis on leadership skills, critical thinking, and social justice while empowering students to make positive contributions to society.
Three principles guide the educational process: Responsibility, Regalo ("Gift" in Spanish), and Respect. Our students live our guiding values everyday.
