Regarding the Veteran Dental Program: Very Poor Customer Service. I received a prognosis for a procedure and waited a year, calling multiple times during which, only to finally receive a termination letter! I called once more, and I was told I'm no longer eligible because I failed to meet an obligation to visit the NSU College Of Dental Medicine twice a month for dental maintenance? Don't waste of time.
I had been calling since January! I had to go to have my first appointment. It took one month!!! After my first screening they told me I need a second one, it took one more month. They gave me a budget of us10,000!!! I had the credit and now they are giving me an appointment for a 3rd screening in one more month???!! I do really need to start my treatment
I had an amazing experience at NSU Dental School and THE BEST student Max ! Everything that I paid for was told me me upfront so I knew exactly what to expect for each visit. I was also given "worse case scenario" on some things so if the procedure did not need to be done, I did not pay for it. This is a comprehensive program ,so everything that needed to be achieved to get my mouth to perfect health was done. I work a full time job and was able to make each appointment. If I couldn't make something, I would just communicate that to Max and he would schedule accordingly. I felt like Max was very thorough and genuinely wanted to do a great job on everything he performed. The faculty is constantly checking the students work and ensuring they are doing everything correctly so I felt totally confident that I would be receiving the best care. I had one filling that needed to be adjusted and an appointment was made to take care of it immediately. Lastly, I submitted some of my procedures to my insurance and they actually covered a nice portion of it. Overall I had a wonderful experience and will continue to go here for treatment So update: I still am going to the college a YEAR later and my experience continues to be great. My first student did graduate and I was immediately paired with another amazing student . They really do help you to stay on top of your dental care but you have to be just as committed to going to your appointments. I was never surprised by any cost, they are very upfront. The overall health of my mouth has significantly improved and I’ve learned a lot .I’ll continue to go here and would highly recommend it.
Very expensive services + got charged more then expected + received results with little explanation or help or know where to go from there.
Horrible experience. I am disgusted with the unprofessionalism and lack of communication with patients on the expenses of dental work prior to completing them. I went in to urgent care for a root canal. I paid $180 and was told this would cover everything during 1st/2nd session. That I would not be charged anything additional. I am suddenly getting hit with bills and having to pay an additional $330! It is the dentists responsibility to make it clear with their patients on the expenses not after its completed. In addition, my student dentist was rushing my second procedure since she was in a hurry to pick up her kids from school. Never ever experienced such a rushed job getting dental work. I will not be returning nor recommending this place to others. I feel like I was lied to, if I had known a root canal would cost me $500 without a crown, I would have gone to my dentists office! The poor reviews on here speaks volumes.
Worst experience ever, from start to finish! Long story short… we proceeded with NSU under the pretense of my daughter getting braces, after consultation they decided they could not proceed without having some minor oral surgery done first. the oral surgery clinic completely abandoned my daughter as a patient After myself and the insurance continuously tried to reach out to them. We were unable to proceed with the braces because of this and now the clinic won’t even refund me for the money we did pay with the Intention of receiving braces. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone And when I did get a hold of the treatment coordinator Michelle the notes in my daughters case were fraudulent and inaccurate. She refused to update the notes accordingly. No one cares that my daughter was abandoned and nobody wants to be accountable for it. Everyone is looking over it like it’s no big deal . worst experience ever!!
World class care. They are working with me not on just on me. I take part in my treatment plan. I am not told or pushed around, my experience is a positive team effort. The standard of care is high. The faculty and reinforcement works to build student confidence and skills. I am happy with my student doctor, the faculty and standard of care, I am proud to be a patient. I thank the team.
I came with a case manager and they were very rude to to me and acted like Idiscriminated against me because I had a case manager.i have never heard of any thing like this rude or obnoxious dental assistant that worked there he refused to talk to me. Or acknowledge me because I had a case manager.Horrible service and rude
My experience attending Nova Dental School has been horrible. I'm with my third student, and I only have my impressions done for getting dentures. I'm so disappointed with lies and trying to keep track of where my money is going it has been overwhelming with frustration. I will not recommend anyone to have dental work done for a lack of transparency and deceit by the students.
Scammers trust the reviews. Came here for one issue. Two years later they have yet to deal with that tooth and have gotten 10,000 work done from me already. Every week I owe money and after every visit I have a negative balance despite them stating the balances are up to date when I arrive. All they do is procrastinate so the students can continue to practice on you! Wouldn’t recommend
