I have been a patient of the Bradford Clinic for many years. In fact, Dr Bradford helped my husband and myself through a difficult time trying to have a baby. Our baby is now 32! From the Receptionist to the Nurses to the Doctors, the Bradford Clinic is exceptional!
When I arrived to this clinic for the first time back in July I was greeted by a very nice receptionist. Check in was easy. Dr. Boster was great. I was told that my test results would be back in a few days and once they had those I would be prescribed a prescription. A few days pass and I get a call that I would be getting a RX and to take it immediately. After I completed the RX, my symptoms never went away. I informed a care team member and I was told that the test never went out and that I would have to come back in for another one so they can prescribe me the correct medication. I get it. Stuff happens. I go back and have another test ran and was prescribed another medication when they got the results back. At this point it was late august. I took the medication as directed and STILL had symptoms. When I called the office, Dr. Boster’s nurse answered the call and when I explained to her what was going on she told me I would have to come back in for another test… I had just taken a test two weeks prior. When I told her I was out of town the nurse said she would talk to Dr. Boster to see if I could get another RX. I was later called in a RX for THE SAME RX that was prescribed to me back in July by Dr. Boster that did not work. When I called in and told her nurse I had already taken the RX prescribed most recently back in July, the nurse gave me an attitude and told me they didn’t call that RX in and per my test that RX should work for my issue. Per my records in mychart and the records from my pharmacist they did in fact call in the RX that didn’t work for me the first time and looking at my test results, this RX would MAYBE work to treat my issue. I explained this to her and she told me to call my pharmacy? I’m fed up and my hands are tied. Im in the healthcare field and it honestly seems like there’s a lack of competence with the back office. I won’t be back here unfortunately due to it.
Dr. Bowles is wonderful. The staff and her nurse are nice and professional. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr Bowles. She listens to you and cares about her patients.
It is clear customer service and patient care are not a top priority for this office. With the front staff picking the winners and losers of who will be treated with kindness and respect it makes for a frustrating and upsetting experience before you are even seen by a provider. In addition, it is absurd that you have to wait a month or more to get an appointment. There are issues that occur that do not rise to the level of an ER or urgent care visit but should be addressed by a provider who has visibility to your complete medical history without waiting weeks. Lastly, if you are trying to call the office and want to speak to a live person, be prepared to wait on hold for at least 15 minutes.
I have been a patient here for almost 20 years. I appreciate how they take your time into consideration. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes before I am called back. Wonderful staff!!
I had an annual exam today at 11am and this is the second out of two gyno appointments with Novant where my weight has been commented on. The first time I was severely mentally ill and had lost 40lbs in two months, upon going to the previous Novant Noda location, I was told by a PA whom I had never met before that I looked “so much better and healthier” based of the weight previously listed in my chart from months before. Today, I was told that I “must be tall” because I look nowhere near my actual weight. Is it really not taught to healthcare provides how inappropriate this is? And triggering as someone who has dealt with disordered eating? I also had my tattoos on my leg physically touched by the woman doing my blood pressure. She moved the hem of my shorts higher up my thigh so she could see my full tattoo, without asking or any form of consent. In ant doctors office, but ESPECIALLY one where the predominant gender of those being given care is women, and non-binary people who also experience misogyny and gender based violence at higher levels, it is disgusting and disappointing that the staff are not given more training on consent, respect of physical boundaries, and the harm that fat shaming even via a “compliment” really are. I would not suggest this practice to fat people or anyone with trauma from food or unwanted physical touch.
My appointment was timely and the employees made me feel safe and respected. Excellent care!
LeEAnn Blake is an amazing provider and I genuinely look forward to my appointment switch her. So kind, listens to all of my concerns, truly goes above and beyond patient care. Outstanding experience every time.
My gynecologist Dr. Moore is the best. He has a great personality; I actually enjoy my yearly visit. He's so easy to talk to. I've been a patient since 2000. I'll forever recommend him to anyone
I loved my doctor for years. She left the practice, and I struggle to make an appointment. There are no appointment unless you wait a month or more. Some of the office staff works hard to find an appointment, others don’t seem to care.Patient care no longer seems to be high on their priority.
