-WORST SERVICE EVER- My primary care doctor referred me to NovaSpine to see Dr. David Morales. I made my appointment and it was set for October 30th. Got a call from NovaSpine that they can move my appointment up for today 10/18/23 at 2:30, but to arrive 15 minutes early if I had all my paperwork done. So, I did what I was told. Showed up today, checked in at 2:10pm. The place was crowded! I sat down and waited to be called. At 3pm I went up to the receptionist they were very nice and polite asked them if I was checked in and they said, "yes, you are. It should not be much longer." I kept seeing what I think are existing patients walk in, sign in and be called in within 5 to 10 minutes, while I waited. Finally 3:45pm, I had enough. Especially when an existing patients walked in and was called no more than 2 minutes later. It felt like a slap in the face. I was so frustrated, I could not speak to the receptionist to cancel my appointment. The young lady apologized and said I should be next. I just shook my head and walked out, before I did not want said something stupid to someone who does not have control of the situation. I understand I am a new patient to NovaSpine and it might take some time to get me into their system, but an hour and a half of a wait! That is so unprofessional of a company. If they didn't have the time to see me, then they should have left me for the original date, instead of changing it. I am not sure if this is the new way of doing business, but no thank you. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I called my primary care doctor and asked them to please refer me to some other company. What would you have done?
I have been coming here for years & Dr Baker is so awesome, sweet & fair. He is a man of his word. I think the world of him. I absolutely love coming here! The PA I'm seeing now is such a nice, sweet young lady & I think the world of her. Everyone is nice & courteous here. Like I said I have been coming here for years & love it!
I have a serious case of Spinal Stenosis and was referred to NovaSpine for the insertion of a spinal stimulator. Over the past six months my condition has steadily worsened. At NovaSpine I was moved along very quickly and I believed I would receive the spinal stimulator very soon. Once the insurance approved the procedure, I was told it couldn't be done for 3.5 more months. By then I am likely to need an ambulance to get to their office. I need help now. Not 3.5 months from now. I feel totally betrayed by NovaSpine.
Dr. Clifford Baker, the founder of Nova Spine, is an extremely competent, caring practitioner. He communicates very well and is very effective in the treatment of pain, tailoring his approach to each individual's needs. In addition he has surrounded himself with a highly trained and knowledgeable staff.
I love NovaSpine! I’ve been seeing Dr Terrie for the past 8 years and just love how much she has done for me. Even when I wanted to give up she didn’t! I love the staff.
If you are in need of medical care and experiencing symptoms and do not want to jeopardize your medical treatment plan. Do not leave a Google review because I've provided two reviews at one star. They no longer feel comfortable seeing me even though none of my concerns are with the medical staff. In fact, the medical staff have been great. It's just the administrative staff leave a lot to be desired. Luckily I by default record all my phone calls so I will be reaching out to an attorney to verify. No laws have been broken and filing complaints of retaliatory action with the medical board. Called Novasprine and set up an appointment. I stopped by two weeks before my appointment to provide paperwork and copy of ID and insurance. I was told I'm all set for my appointment and insurance was verified. Come to find out Novasprine did not do their due diligence and my insurance had lapse yet I was told it was verified. I get a bill which I am responsible for due to their negligence in verifying insurance and was lied to. Update: Came for another appt they're running 40+ minutes behind. Is it too much to provide patients an update that the doctor is running behind when they've waited weeks for the appt? I understand poor time management and setting expectations for appointments is normal for doctor offices but why not work to improve this. Maybe don't crame too many people in your day or set proper expectations when people arrive. I don't believe I should be inconvenienced because someone doesn't know how to communicate.
I can’t even express how good person not just by helping me but been nice sweet and always with smile, I wouldn’t change or have any other person unless is Victoria I will recommend her for anybody to ask me Victoria is the best I ever had thank you Victoria your the best
Very impressed with the office staff and Dr Baker. After a long search, it is such a relief to find a compassionate, caring, amazing doctor for my father's pain. Thank you, Nova and Dr. Baker.
I was waiting in the front waiting area when I heard my wife screaming and crying. No one came to me to let me know what was happening and no one allowed me to go to her. Then no one came to let me know that she was ready to leave so I could move my car to the patient pick up parking area. Instead they took her across the parking area and didn’t even assist her with getting in the vehicle. She was still sedated. I am so angry at the facility and staff because that is my wife that they didn’t treat well nor me and I am suppose to pay this place for this kind of services? I think not. I don’t blame Dr. Morales at all because he did his job professionally but I fully blame the facility and staff for their unprofessional heartless job and attitude!!!!
Had an 8:15 appointment, didn’t get called till 8:40. Was taken to room and asked a series of normal questions . The young lady left saying Victoria will be right in. I sat there for almost 1/2 hr., with no one ever coming in. It was determined by Victoria that I must have an MRI, and due to my pacemaker the only one to do it is banner in Phx, and will probably take over a month to get in. She suggested an epidural shot to possibly relieve the pain, and to call the front desk for an appointment. I immediately went home and called, and was told that the Dr. Had nit entered the . info to my chart, and they would call me later to schedule . No return call! Next day I called again, Victoria not in today, and can’t do anything until she enters the info., and she won’t be in till next Tuesday.three more days I paid $70 for this visit, and this is what I get? HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
