Founded in 1973, the NRA Whittington Center hosts many competitive, educational and recreational activities in all shooting disciplines, as well as retreats, reunions, and family vacations.
Located in Northern New Mexico in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, the NRA Whittington Center is 33,000 acres of beauty. A place where you will see antelope, elk, bear, and maybe even a coyote, fox or mountain lion, all in a day's adventure. You can hike, camp, shoot and explore one of the jewels of the Southwest, all at your leisure. Hunts for elk, bear, pronghorn, turkey, and mule deer are also available.
Our mission is to provide a place where you can enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful and safe environment.
