At NTY Franchise Company, we help you start your own resale business with our proven techniques and training.
NTY & The Ron Olson Story NTY Franchise Company was founded in 2006 by President and Director, Ron Olson. The company has moved forward quickly with tech savvy concepts in a cutting edge market – and it’s moving in the same direction the world is moving. Resale is not like consignment or thrift stores – and because NTY is so particular about what we buy and sell, customers like our commitment to excellence. We have five very different franchise opportunities that cover a large spectrum of the resale market. Whether it’s women’s designer clothing, electronic devices, kids clothing and accessories, teen/young adult clothing, or beautiful furniture and household goods, NTY Franchise Company offers great franchising opportunities. With Ron Olson’s innovation and commitment to the franchises, the rest of the staff follows that leadership and brings a great deal of experience with them as well.
After NTY Franchise Company was founded in 2006, the company purchased the franchise rights for Clothes Mentor and New Uses. NTY started franchising Clothes Mentor in 2007. Clothes Mentor sells women’s designer resale clothing. Today there are 175 stores throughout the country with more to come. New Uses, a furniture and household good’s resale store, first started franchising in 2011, and now has several stores in three states. NTY Franchise Company purchased Device Pitstop (formerly Laptop Exchange) in 2013, which started franchising in 2013, and now has locations in five states.
In 2014, NTY Franchise Company opened two new brands: NTY Clothing Exchange and NTY Kids. Both of these franchises are poised to grow in markets that really need resale. With NTY Clothing Exchange, teens and young adults get a store that’s all their own – not just a department. And parents find in NTY Kids a store for their kids who have outgrown their clothes faster than they can be worn out. With this kind of need, they both have huge potential for growth.
In 2015, NTY Franchise Company purchased Children’s Orchard, which has 32 stores in the United States. Taking it and blending it with NTY Kids, the name will stay as Children’s Orchard with NTY Kids turning into a Children’s Orchard as well, with a total of 33 stores.
With a proven track record, solid concepts, and superior support, NTY Franchise Company’s goal is to franchise hundreds of Clothes Mentor, Device Pitstop, New Uses, NTY Clothing Exchange, and Children’s Orchard stores in the coming years. It’s a great company to become a franchisee with because you won’t be doing it alone – your success is our success. And with the huge market of resale and our high quality, your business will only grow faster and become more profitable.
