Good food, good hookah and even better service. Diana was very friendly and helpful! The shawarmas were pretty good and the portions were generous. Our hookah was also very smooth. Because we went on a Saturday night, the line was very long to get a table on the patio. Instead, we sat inside, which was much quieter. Overall would return.
I've returned to Nubia Café for the second time, and I must say that the customer service remains excellent. The food quality is consistently impressive, delivering a delightful and delicious experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. During this visit, I placed a carry-out order, receiving two plates and a refreshing Frappuccino drink.
Great experience.. smart choice… friendly staff and exceptional customer service.. I definitely recommend it.
Hookah: 5/5 very smooth had Blue Mist Service: 5/5 extremely satisfied Food: 4/5 pretty good and huge portions Price: 4/5 reasonable and quite affordable Ambience: 2/5 slightly dimmed and colored lights would make it better Would come back and definitely get the "Tea Kushari" again!
I liked this place the vibes were really different. When I saw it at first it was strange for me, the tables too close to each other, the huka smoke all over the tables, but it felt like a traditional cafe in Egypt bazar! At the weekends they don’t have any reservations and it is very normal to staying in the line foe an hour! This place is so popular for arab people. You can not find parking easily. There is no time limit to stay in your table so people are playing here and for the weekends there is at least $20 minimum order per person! So can’t go here only for huka at the weekends. We ordered mint and lemon juice drink and it was really good. And kabsa for food it was two huge lamb hangs with rice and spices. It is definitely for two person! Really huge portions. We liked it. For dessert we ordered kanufe and om alli! They were ok. The Kanafe wasn’t crispy! Over all if you like the atmosphere, I recommend this place.
The first place I go whenever I’m in LA! Best food, malasa chai tea and hookah! Great staff, services and environment! Parking can be hard since SO many people but def worth it!!
I like this place. The ambience is nice. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is good and the Houkah is good and they have a decent hookah flavor selection. It is my spot whenever I wanna go in a hookah lounge in Anaheim.
The chicken kabob platter I ordered was excellent. The later it gets, the more lively the atmosphere gets.
I regret to say that my recent experiences at Nubia have left me disheartened and dissatisfied. While the restaurant used to be a favorite of mine, it has unfortunately taken a downward turn in terms of both menu pricing and food quality. One of the most frustrating aspects I encountered during my visits was the issue of inaccurate menu prices. On multiple occasions, I noticed that the final bill exceeded the listed prices, leading to an unpleasant surprise when it came time to settle the payment. This inconsistency is not only misleading but also erodes trust between the establishment and its patrons. However, the most disappointing aspect is the decline in food quality. Previously, Nubia was known for its delicious and well-prepared dishes. Unfortunately, in recent visits, I found the food quality to be consistently subpar. The once-impressive flavors and textures have noticeably diminished, leaving me questioning the attention to detail and care that used to be synonymous with the restaurant. Each time I visited, I hoped for an improvement, but sadly, the food quality only seemed to worsen. It is disheartening to witness such a decline in a place that I once held in high regard.
I've been coming here for years. The vibe for this place is a good combination of lively and laid back at the same time. I have not been to a place that has better hookah than this place. The hookah is very well priced, the food is on point, and they come by to replace the coals frequently. I live an hour away, but I make the drive out here on occasion because it's worth it. On the weekends, it does get pretty packed so I'd recommend showing up before 9pm to get the best seating.
