Ordered a pizza here on Fathers Day and requested a large half supreme and half sausage and pepperoni pizza. The woman taking our order read the order back to us and ensured we would be getting a half and half pizza. Upon getting home with our pizza we saw the entire pizza was supreme. I call up to the restaurant and the manager, Jo I believe was her name, says she will mail me a gift card so we can get a pizza on them for our next visit. We receive the gift card in the mail today and it’s for $15.00. Mind you, the incorrect pizza we ordered the other day was $30.00. For them to only refund half the pizza is extremely cheap. Yes, only half the pizza was “wrong”, but it’s more than just the money. Our kids refused to eat the pizza on Fathers Day because it had all the vegetables on it so we ended up having to cook a different meal for them. It put a damper on Fathers Day. It was a total inconvenience and could have been avoided had Nunzios just ensured order accuracy. For them to send a $15.00 gift card, which is less than what a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza would even cost, is just pathetic. You lost a customer
First time guest - and it was so delicious- with very generous portions! My friend had the pasta and I had the boneless wings. Very good! The atmosphere is semi-casual, and our waitress was very attentive. We would definitely go back!Recommended dishes
I ordered an XL sausage pizza. The sausage itself was flavorful; however, the sauce and the dough were lackluster. The sauce was missing flavor and gets completely overpowered by the cheese and the dough on the pizza. The dough itself had a taste of char and it wasn't even burnt. There were burnt remnants of previous items cooked in the oven, sticking to the bottom of the pizza dough, leaving a less than golden brown crust that made most of the pizza taste burnt. The pizza was thrown in a box that wasn't large enough for the pie, forcing the edges of the pizza to curl up the sides of the box and causing the toppings to vacate the edge pieces. The carryout service itself felt very strange. I parked in the parking lot and hopped out of my car and looked for an entrance to pick up my pizza. After walking up to the building, I noticed numbered spots labeled carry out and a number to call. I had to move my car to the designated carry out parking spots and then proceeded to call the listed number. I called the number provided and it led me to the busy front desk line for the restaurant. I felt very uncomfortable as I was going to pay by card and hand the card over to someone that walked away with it into the building in order to swipe it. Here's my gripes: Why is there not an employee observing the carry out spots instead of forcing people to call the number? Why is there not a tablet set up with a swipe device for the takeout attendants to use for those paying with a card, especially if there is no option to order and pay via the website. It makes absolutely zero sense. Why are people not told on the phone to look for and park in the carry out spots to get their food? I witnessed other confused patrons asking how they get their food as I was trying to get mine! Overall, things need to change. Rockford has so many quality pizza places and unfortunately, I cannot comfortably say this is one after this experience.
Absolutely ridiculous. What is the point of having a reservation? And then tell me that you’re waiting for the family at “the table” to leave. Don’t kick out another family spending time together talking and having a good time just to seat me and my party. Instead push together two of the tables out of the idk 10 or so that are empty and seat my party. Why take a reservation for 11 people if you’re not going to honor it? And then when I ask how long it’s going to be you say again “we’re waiting for the family at the table to leave before we seat you.” That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. At least your bartenders were competent and I at least got a bourbon before I left because I wasn’t seated for my reservation. Had I known I wasn’t going to get seated for my reservation I would have tipped the poor bartenders more. Since you can’t reply to responses I’ll edit to address your response. First off, no profanity was used towards your hostess by me so don’t make false accusations. Secondly, I counted 5 tables on the east side of your restaurant that were big enough to accommodate had they been pushed together. We were the only ones waiting to be seated, so there shouldn’t have been an issue in doing so. And lastly, your hostess was rude when I asked how much longer of a wait it would be after we waited almost a half an hour after our reservation time. Again not sure the point of a reservation if you don’t honor it.
SO DELICIOUS, will be back very soon hopefully. We ordered an extra large pizza with bacon and it was honestly the best pizza I've ever had in illinois. 10 stars if i could! with a beer, waters, and bread the bill was only under 30 dollars. VERY WORTH IT.
This is my first time. And it was fantastic. The lasagna especially was wonderful. They're pasta sauce is extremely good. All three kids shared one medium Pizza. That is their smallest size and we still had two slices left over. The portions are incredibly large. On top of that the service was great had a smile on their face and we enjoyed every moment. It was a great night. On top of that one in our group cannot have gluten and they were able to check with us and make sure everything was good. They even thought of a few things that we did not. Food was pretty good but the service was decent. Waiter couldn't answer any of the questions we had and didn't know the menu to well. Must be new, but we'll be back.Food: 4/5

We went tonight and some of the food was great as other dishes weren't. The waitress forgot to put in my dad's food order so by by the time he got his food the rest of us were already done eating. They should not have gave us our food until his was ready because we felt awful eating ours while he sat there waiting.Food: 3/5
Everything is great here. Best pizza in the Rockford area! Don’t sleep on the Steak Sinatra either, it’s delicious!Food: 5/5
