After discussion with the office manager, Julie, and Dr. Croak’s response to my comments here, I would like to update my review. The practice has gone above and beyond to clarify the practice policy and procedures to provide the best possible care for their patients. They are working to resolve my issue. My initial review was not directed at the practice itself but I understand how everyone in the practice may be affected by words hastily written in anger. It is a teaching moment for all involved, including myself. I highly recommend this practice.
From a young girl at the age of 17 with issues to the 42 year old I am now, Dr. James Croak and then Dr. Andrew Croak will always be the best! I still have the VHS tape from Dr J. Croak that he gave me of my emergency lap surgery when I was 17. He was the greatest doctor who did so much for me and to carry on his legacy, Dr. Andrew Croak, who has done a couple of surgeries for me, including a hysterectomy just this year. He is a wonderful doctor and wouldn't go anywhere else! I'm so thankful for them both!
I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Croak. During every step of my hospital stay and emergent surgery, Dr. Croak explained everything very clearly. He was very kind and compassionate and asked me about my fears and concerns. Dr. Croak saved my life!
I highly recommend Dr Croak's office to anyone having any kind of issues. I was nervous and his staff and nurses know exactly how to make you feel comfortable. The Nurses explain everything in detail which makes the experience comforting. Dr Croak is a genuine person. Very comforting and understanding. After surgery everyone was so understanding and helpful during the healing process. Thank you Dr Croak and Staff
As a woman who'd rather not see a male Dr, Dr.Croak really made all worries fade away. He has great communication skills your not left with awkward silence and not only answered my questions but made sure we both was on the same level understanding eachother. I wasn't to happy with my first appointment with Jill but she did ultimately ask me what I was looking to do which did redeem how I felt.
I can’t begin to share enough gratitude to Dr. Croak and his staff. The sincerity, kindness and professional manner which this group practices with each and every patient is exceptional. My care before , during and after my surgery could not have been better anywhere else. I highly recommend this practice. They are truly there for their patients and Dr. Croak is one of kindest physicians I have ever met. I am so thankful Dr. Croak was recommended to me!
Dr. Croak and all the staff here were amazing. Genuinely kind people who make you feel comfortable in humiliating situations. I was referred to Dr. Croak after having a 4th degree tear. Dr. Croak was able to identify my issues and set a game plan on how to solve them in our first meeting. A month later I was able to have my surgeries and get back on track to being the mom I always wanted to be. I cannot stress enough how much everyone here changed my life. I'm so grateful for every staff member in that building. From the amazing receptionists who answered the phone with compassion and kindness in their voices to the nurses who would chat with me about my baby to ease my nerves. If I could give this place a million stars I would!
Dr. Croak, his staff, and the staff and doctors at McLaren St. Luke's Hospital are all very skilled, knowledgeable, and so wonderfully caring and friendly. I had to have pelvic reconstruction surgery, and I couldn't have been in better hands than Dr. Croak and his staff. The doctors at the hospital were also very caring and good to me.
Two years ago, I had problems controlling my urine. I sought out help from my OBGYN. He told me the best doctor was Dr Croak. So, I made appointment. He explained my situation and what would cure it, a bladder sling. I had the surgery, and I can say I have no other problems since! I do go for the physical Therapy which helped me get back to work. They are kind, helpful, and very professional! I recommend this practice and don't be afraid to make yourself a better life without pads!
The office staff is wonderful. Everyone has treated me well. As far as surgery, my BP was high and they were going to cancel. Dr. Croak was very patient with me. He turned the lights down and played music from his phone to help calm me down which brought my BP down. He also stood beside me and rubbed my shoulder. I was able to have the surgery. Dr.Croak is very patient and kind. The nursing staff was very nice. After the surgery, I am very pleased with what was done. I am so much better. I have no issues from the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Croak and his staff.
