We love O'Hair. When I say "we," I mean everyone in my family. We all go to O'Hair and couldn't be happier! Unless Tamara came back to provide lash and brow services. I miss her! We've seen Lindsay, Stacey, and Johanna. They are all wonderful. This is the best my hair has ever looked. Lindsay figured out what would look best on me, and now I am a customer for life. I really appreciate when a hair stylist listens to you and also adds their own expertise and vision. I trust the stylists at O'Hair implicitly. I don't understand some of these reviews. Fees are competitive—and in most cases, more reasonable than other salons. Their cancellation policy is standard. It's the same everywhere I have gone. And they tell you up front, so it's not as though they're pulling a fast one! That's not how they roll. I now carry O'Hair business cards with me because I get SO many compliments on my hair. I have no affiliation with them except as a customer. Everyone is so lovely. I always look forward to my visits to O'Hair—and having complete strangers approach me to comment on how gorgeous my hair is doesn't hurt either! I love O’Hair they are super nice and sweet. I love Stacy she is so nice, she did great job my hair. I love Stacy did my hair.

So they have this policy where you will pay full amount for service if you cancel last minute or don’t show up. I’ve been coming here for three years. The policy didn’t really register with me until I got caught up with family issues and totally forgot about my appointment. I picked up the phone when they called asking if I’m coming but I couldn’t leave my child alone. The lady said that they would charge me for the service. As a retuning customer, I was blown away that this was even thrown at me this way because I clearly didn’t mean to miss my appointment. They did not charge me in the end but the manner in which all of this was handled was not good. The cancellation policy is alienating and quite difficult to enforce. I mean I was not going to pay full price for a service not rendered because something came up. I’m not going back there because I feel like there is this ax over head and if something happens again these people get money because of my mishap or even bad luck. I don’t like the tone that I was spoken. It was all very tacky.Service:&nbsp;Haircut

I’ve been getting my haircut here for years. Great service and great stylists!!

This was the most confusing haircut experience I have ever had in all my years getting my haircut.  1st it started off with the weird deposit thing which I've only experienced once at an extremely luxrious hair salon so I don't really understand why I had to do it here to start with and secondly once they brought me upstairs to get my hair washed that was the fastest I've ever had my hair washed I'm pretty sure I was done in about maybe 5 minutes then then the haircut literally only took 20 minutes I have extremely long hair and I requested bangs, debulking, trim and layering with a sharp V shape.  I asked my stylist if she was OK with the V shape cause I know it's not easy and it was hard for me to find a hairstylist that could do a decent V shape and it would take my last  regular stylist you know an hour or so and she was done in about 20 minutes and she said how did it look and obviously I was already stunned by how quick and rash I was done with the shampooing so I just said OK and I paid and left and then I looked in the mirror and my God the ends weren't even even and the V shape was nonexistent.  You can also see that the reviews are very far apart timewise so I don't know how long this review's gonna last before it's deleted but take it as you will.Service:&nbsp;Haircut

Male stylist seems to treat employees very badly. I saw a girl working there crying. I also got very bad vibes from the male stylist. Creepy.... do not recommend.....also the music they play in there is very annoying.......gave me a migraine.

Got my hair done and have to write a review because I was completely shocked at the price. I got the same Color and cut in NYC and it was nearly $100.00 less in NYC and even in downtown DC for $125.00 less. I can’t recall a time where I ever paid over $400.00 for service and the balayage service is time consuming which is built into the price already and then they charged an extra $50.00 for “extra time” even though the stylist was switching between me and other clients as well. I didn’t want to challenge the price with the girl at the front because it’s not her fault but writing a review to let people know to discuss the price up front so you’re not like me where you’re getting charged over $400.00 for a services that are much less nearby. It also seems like there is an extra charge for this or for that when other places say “do you want it dried straight or curled” and at this salon it’s a charge $25 for this, $25 for that, $50 for this. Just rubs you the wrong way. Just recommending to discuss the price up front so you know what to expect knowing how much you need to Spend to get your hair colored or cut or styled without being surprised upon checkout. Their website says price upon consultation but there was really no consultation and then I’m stuck paying because I did receive the service-I guess I should’ve asked how much it would be and what fees they would add. I really like this place. The front desk is professional and friendly. The space is well designed, no clutter. The stylists are dressed appropriately. My stylist definitely understood what I was looking for in a cut. She mentioned how the stylists are always learning techniques. The price was completely reasonable, and there's no tipping which is a novel idea. I'm all for tipping for good service, but it was a nice change of pace to be at a place that didn't have that extra confusion at the end. I will definitely be going back.

Domestic, the owner, has been cutting my hair for more than 10 years. He can never retire! He understands curly hair and cutting hair is only one of his creative outlets. His artistry shows and his love for his business always comes through. I also buy my hair products there. Same price as Amazon so I might as well support the local business. A great place!
