The food was okay. I had steak and guinness pie. It's nice that they served a little glass of the guinness on the side as well. The pie had a very fluffy crust. The filling was spot on too. Very typical. It's been a while. Great atmosphere. Felt like a generic Irish pub.Food: 3/5
Went here with my gf and my best friend yesterday and was hoping this would be a great spot, as my gf just recently moved into the area. Sadly and unexpectedly, we were very disappointed! The service was fairly attentive, but they never once came back to ask us how our food was maybe they just knew how bad their food was, to begin with, because it wasn't busy at all ..Haha. Literally just dropped off out food, and the next time was for our bill. The food in itself, was a huge disappointment all around the table; we had ordered 2 orders of the Beef Cali Burger, and the Baja Fish Tacos to our table. While the food looked fairly appetizing, but the tacos were very bland and also the beef patty felt borderline non-existent; also, the meat patty was very thin, and with no flavour whatsoever. We asked for well done/crispy fries ..but the fries came soggy for both our orders. Was not impressed and not sure how this place has such positive reviews. I wouldn't reccomend this place, nor will any of us be returning.
The food was delicious, and the service was on point. The value is good, too! The atmosphere makes me feel like an irish pub, as does the menu. I will definitely be coming back.Food: 5/5
excellent experience of renowned irish hospitality in a fine richmond neighborhood. my server was a delight, although seemingly a bit new to the job. she handed me hand written notes of what was on tap, which was better than nothing, and had me try samples. the food was lovely. started with chicken wings, choosing lemon pepper from a hand written note of all the flavours, then a shepards pie with fries and mash, knocking my carb intake right out of the park. excellence all around!
Overpriced and underwhelming. The ceviche was ok but far, far too small for $18. The tacos are appy size not meal size. The pork was greasy. 2 bites and they are gone. Kitchen, you can up then size and toss on some veg to pad it out a bit. Carbs and veg are cheap. The chicken club sandwich & fries was a 7/10. It was quantity over quality. Overall, it was disappointing.
Lived in Richmond for 44 years and I finally went to this place. Nice friendly neighborhood pub, family friendly, good place for drinks and a bit to eat. Can't believe it took me this long to discover his place. Definitely coming back.
Best pub in Richmond, Period. The food can't be beat paired with an extensive Beer list that is always changing. My first recommendation anytime someone wants to go out for a bite. Turkey Clubhouse!
Use to come here a ton for food and drinks when growing up in Richmond. First time back today and there have been many upgrades to the place. Looks great! Food is great!Food: 5/5
My first time here but seems like it was just reno'd. The place is nice and clean and the service was pretty good! Food was just ok, as usual for a pub. I had a the Tex Mex burger with fries. My friends liked the beef dip, chicken strips and clubhouse they ordered. They have nice new dart boards and for a Friday it wasn't too crowded. But for beer they had a lot of the same types on tap. Out of probably 16 beers they only had one lager and no sours or stouts. There's a more restauranty less pubby type area sectioned off of the main pub which could be good for a private event. Their patio looked cozy as well. Small parking lot and I'm not sure about street parking in surrounding areas. Liquor store next door to take the party back home. Hight recommend for a casual night!
Have a good variety of craft beers. Great service. Food is not that great, but if it is just to enjoy a good beer and get something to eat in the meantime it is greatFood: 3/5
