5 stars across the board. Jose the Manager was so kind and the wait staff, including Katia, were amazing. It felt like finding a hidden gem with the generous portions of great food, the gorgeous views, and reasonable pricing. My brother, who is a "foodie", said the onion rings were the best he's ever had. They also let me bring my little dogs with me on the patio during lunch which I really appreciated. The whole golf course and trail area around the restaurant was also lovely. Will definitely be back!

What an amazing evening at Oneil's Bar and Grill on the golf course. We were greeted by the GM Jose and his wonderful staff Danielle and Marsolini. We started with a some wine tasting and decided upon the Zinfandel and the Cabernet which were both fantastic. Danielle took our drink order and I decided to try the broccoli and white cheddar soup that was very tasty. Marsolini brought in a wonderful heater for my wife and also water as well as place settings. What a very dedicated and hard working individual which we so admire and are thankful for. Jose came by twice to see how we were and ask how the food and experience was going which is so nice as we feel like family with him and his staff. Such amazing people. The entrees were delicious as I had the tri-tip salad and my wife had the BBQ chicken sandwich. So so good. Danielle is a true professional with a heart of gold and we so enjoy her presence and expertise. I must say every time we visit Oneil's the staff are epic and the food very good with a view and ambiance that is just breathtaking.Highly recommended. Previous Visit What an amazing time today for lunch at Oneil's. We were greeted by the wonderful hostess who took us to a table with a beautiful view of the golf course. Our amazing server, Richie, was stellar with a great personality, professionalism and knowledge of the menu and drink mixology. We both ordered Casamigos with club soda and three limes muddled on ice and they were so good we had to each have a couple. This was our first time dining at Oneil's for lunch as we are dinner regulars yet wanted to try the lunch menu, which is also fantastic with a wide array of tasty meals. Richie took our order and I decided to try the turkey club sandwich with sweet potato fries, which was outstanding. My wife had the chicken nachos and loved the dish and had to take home half of the very generous portion. We must praise the talented chefs, Luciano and Giovanni, as these two professionals are stellar at their trade, thank you both. Jose Torres, the GM, came by and visited and brought us an amazing chocolate souffle desert which was heavenly. Jose is an amazing GM who truly takes pride in his workers, the food and loves his customers. Highly recommended 6/5/2022 A beautiful Sunday evening dinner at Oneill's... We were greeted by Jose the General Manager and had a reservation for dinner. He took us to a wonderful table overlooking the golf course which was perfect to set the tone. Our Waiter Alex came by and took our drink order and was quite personable and professional. We had an opportunity to also chat with Danielle who is an angel and also server. Great people, great atmosphere, ambiance, service, food and drinks. We soon ordered dinner and enjoyed our time at the restaurant. It was pleasant and the food came out hot and tasty. We had Don Julio Repasado with club soda on light ice with 3 limes...so refreshing. My wife had the BBQ chicken sandwich with a side salad and I had the Arriabata pasta with chicken breast. We finished sharing a slice of gluten free chocolate cake Ala mode with fruit and a cup of fresh hot coffee. We just love this place and had an opportunity to talk with Jose about the quality personnel he has on staff and our appreciation for each and every one of them. Dante our server was quite professional and very personable. We started with drinks Don Julio Repasado with club soda, 3 limes on ice and a glass of Petite Shiraz from Napa and the spinach artichoke chips & dip which was perfect. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich as her entree and I had the arriabata pasta dish and added chicken breast. Both dishes were excellent. After a few more drinks and gazing at the amazing scenery and ambiance we met Danielle and chatted a bit. Check this amazing place out for dining or a special event. Nice! Highly recommended

We had a large party and they were able to accommodate us. The waiting staff was friendly but the service was a little slower that we would have liked. The food was great and everyone was friendly and nice. The atmosphere was incredible and we had a great view overlooking the golf course.

First time eating here. It was a beautiful day to sit outside for lunch! Service was great! Dante was our server and was on point! It’s a little pricey however the food was good so it was worth it! Salad was fresh taco were great and my Stella beer was chilly! I’d go back again Cute inside as well See photos

This has to be one of the most underrated and hidden gems of South Orange County. What's better than sitting outside with a beautiful view of the Saddleback Mountains in green, perfectly cut grass in great weather? Nothing! Or very little anyway. The service is excellent, the food is just as great and whether you decide to sit inside which is all very nice, or outside, it is an all-around great experience! Prices are definitely reasonable for the service and food you receive. It's well worth the money and time! Love this place. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Unfortunately didn't get any pictures of the very pretty view of the golf course! Service was very, very good here and food was good. I had a BLT and a side salad and a small chocolate dessert. Hard to judge a BLT as excellent cuz it's just a BLT! Still it was good! I will be returning for a nice afternoon!Food: 4/5

I ordered a burger. It was a sloppy mess. There was a big tooth pick barely holding the monstrosity together. There was no way I could fit it in my mouth. I don't know whose idea this was for how big restaurant burgers should be but this is nuts. O'Neill's takes this bad idea to an extreme. I don't fully know how it tastes because I left it on the table after I took a couple bites. I think it tasted fine, at least as good as any other burger. Meets expectations.

Great place with Good food I had Burger which was decent but not the best burger in OC! Quesadilla with Tri-Tip was really good. Food is excellent. Views from the patio are serene. The cocktail lounge is large and tasteful. We urge only a few of you to try it out; as we would hate to see it become even busier. Enjoy!
