Ice cream, bagels, donuts, Panera, department store, grocery store. Everything in one place
I grew up next to this little shopping center so I've always had a soft spot for it. The round table is always awesome, but Flying Colors Comics is the coolest shop in the U.S.A hands down, it's the best comic book store I've ever seen or been to. I've been a customer off and on for almost 30 years. I plan to patronize several of the stores in this shopping center in the very near future!!
There are a few gems here such as Mona's Burgers and the Comic book store, there are a few lower level California standards such as Trader Joe's and Peets coffee and there are places to visit only once if ever, such as Captains chest.
OMG one of my number one go to places when I'm in town. Love love love this store. Conscientious about the wait time employees very conscientious of customer service. Cashiers are so accommodating for getting you in and out of this store not to hold up lines outside. Very helpful staff not just pointing you to an aisle if in need of an item but literally assisting you finding that item immediately. This has happened several times upon my visits. Looking for an item that maybe out? No problem team member will gladly look it up letting you know the next shipment coming in.. Thank you Trader Joe teams. You are the best!
Specifically PETFOOD EXPRESS. The best service, the nicest people, always so helpful and readily available. I have been here a few times, but this is the second time I have been in to this store and they have been so kind as to give me bulk dog biscuits on the house just to be nice. It may not sound like much, but it means alot to me and absolutely made my day.
It's definitely older and hasn't had a facelift to bring it into this century. That said, there are some newer places to eat, like Jimmy John's. There is plenty of parking since there isn't a lot of foot traffic. It is a little busier around lunch time but other than that you won't have to park far.
Nice shopping plaza that is well maintained. Has a little bit of everything: grocery store Trader Joe's, pet shop Pet food express, bank Wells Fargo, food establishments Japanese, hamburger, etc. . Parking lot can get busy and full during weekends. Getting out of the parking lot requires some patience, though.
Good selection of businesses. Well kept grounds. Lively. Good nighttime security guards. Ample parking. Karaoke Wed-Sun. Trader Joe's! Baskin Robbins. Round Table Clubhouse. Wells Fargo Bank.
Very convenient location. From Sushi to CPR classes. Comics, burgers, pet shop , and Ice cream. There’s a lot more too. Parking is ample, but can be a little confusing. If you stay away from the main part in front of the storefronts, you’ll be fine!
Exiting onto Oak Grove road north bound is SCARY. I've been doing it for years and every time I feel stressed when waiting and timing my exit into traffic. Trader Joe's is the main attraction here. Every once and a while there are other shops I visit but none on a regular basis. Not a bad place. I just wish it were easier to get out off.
