CVS messed up my covid vaccination record even though I got all 3 doses, and it didn't transpose to the Mi covid database correctly. CVS wanted a week or more to fix the issue.The employees at Oakland county health center, were kind enough to fix the issue on their database. Courteous, helpful and knowledgeable employees here.
This place doesn’t deserve any stars, I recently moved out of state , contacted this office to obtain MY immunization records . The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Not helpful at all. The senior office support clerk Jody was very rude to me & the person who is in charge of actually emailing the records emailed my sensitive information to the wrong email. Paying attention to detail is part of the job. They need a new staff. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Today we went to South Oakland Health Center for my daughter Hep B vaccine. The Facility staff were friendly and helpful in completing the necessary documentation and the Medical staff was so good to my daughter that she felt comfortable and got her immunization done. Thank you for your service.
NURSE ERIN is very rude and has a dismissive disposition! If someone is coming for help and you can't show compassion, then you shouldn't be in the medical field! At least be able to inform me of what's going on in a concise manner. NURSE STEPHANIE was absolutely AMAZING and so was the NURSE SUPERVISOR PAULA. They quickly came to my aid when I requested another nurse. Both were very informative, nice and pleasant to speak with. I appreciated them explaining to me what's going on and why.
Staff is so nice and helpful. They make sure you have a clear understanding of what is going on at all times. They all take the time to listen to your concerns to better assist you with your needs. Thank you to the team!
Very nice friendly welcoming staff at the clinic. Everyone there provided excellent service creating such a positive atmosphere. I was scared of needles and one of the nurses held my hand wasn’t that bad either by the way!. Everything was fast but not rushed , I was in and out within 30 minutes. Thank you Oakland County Health Department!
I love this Health department because every since I had my children in 2003 they have offered tremendous help with care with vaccines flu shots. Its convenient route through Detroit down Greenfield to Southfield.
I brought my son in for two vaccines at 1:10pm. There were three registration Kiosks available. There were 13 people waiting to be registered. My son and I left after one hour waiting to be even registered, so he wouldn’t miss his next class. It would seem that with 13 people waiting for immunizations or testing, 3 people could get people registered and into the clinic in a more timely manner. I wasn’t the only person who left. It’s reminiscent of waiting at the Secretary of State...Oakland County can do better than this. It’s not even Flu season yet...I would have taken my son to his physician to get the Men B, but they don’t carry it and it’s difficult to find at pharmacies. So our only option is waiting 1.5+ hours to get the immunization?
I get my TB test here every year. Staff is professional and efficient. The Nursing staff are knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I have an appointment for my Flu Shot next week!!
Came in for a check up at 1:45 pm... the clerk said it would be 1 hour max. Sat in the uncomfortable chairs until 5:00 pm just to be told, “you know you’re going to have to wait till after five right?” BY ONE OF THE FEMALE DOCTORS. Highly do not recommend coming to this location, all they care about is state funding for vaccinations so that’s all they prioritize. Also would not refund me the money I paid to sit in that chair. This place is a joke
