Our family had a fantastic time at this park, and the animals were a highlight. The Elk, goats, and peacocks were a big hit with the kids. It's a great place for a family day out in nature with some amazing animals to enjoy. Highly recommended!
Love this park, has all the "typical" park qualities, play equipment for children, picnic areas, shelters for party reservations and get-togethers, ball diamond, public pool, located on the "outskirts" of town with a beautiful view of natural scenery, during my last visit, while walking the trail behind the animal sanctuary, my kids and I spotted an eagles nest with two eagles!! Playground: Little "outdated" in my opinion
Really nice quiet campground even on the weekends when it is full. Campground hosts are the best! Only a short walk to watch ballgames or a very short drive to get in a round of golf at Glencoe Country Club which is a public course!
Campers were unaware of the loud music being played at the pavilion in the campground after 11pm. There is no phone number to call or enforcement of noise related to the Memorial celebration! The water park was also broken. Very disappointed.
The peacocks gave us a great show!!! The goats were adorable and friendly!! Didn't see much of the deer or elk, though.
The playground equipment is so nice and great for a variety of ages! Plus there's the pool, the campgrounds and the animals in the back!
great place! the biggest slide there isn’t very big but it’s great for a community pool. definitely recommend
I'm so glad that there's a free place like this so close to home I've been coming here visiting the animals for 8 years and now I get to share my experience with my two sons. Great place for camping, hiking, swimming, and of course the deer, elk, peacocks, and pheasants. Thank you Glencoe keep up the good work.
Parks being free are always 5 stars There is a donation box; please help a dollar or more because animals gotta eat.
Nice park, clean and quiet. Need to have a speed limit in the park. Cars go way too fast through the park. 2 years later and cars still go way too fast through here. A cop needs to sit out here for awhile. Worse offenders are the park employees.
