Oakwood Annaplois Hospital Emergency Department

My experience with this place is the same as many of the reviews here. They do not care! The wait time is beyond unacceptable!! I have had to call for ambulance and the only place they will take you to is Beaumont ER in Wayne. I pray I do not need emergency medical treatment. My husband died there. I don't want to be next! A horrible horrible place! If I could give a negative -5 star rating I would!!

I hate this ER. And the doctors. Nurses are awesome. Because I complained on doctor Sean Walcott I guess I didn't deserve to see any doctor. Cause the whole time I was there only nurses attended to me. Never saw a doctor. No doctor ever said boo to me. Although I have a doctor listed on my after visit summary Dr Nathan Roelant. He never saw me. All because I complained on a doctor. Not loudly or rudely. Just asked for another doctor.

They killed my fiancee Renèe Wasilenko by moving her in critical condition. They would not allow me to see her until she died. I have extreme hatred for this hospital and wish this hospital will shut down for they do not save lives.

If u can go somewhere else, do it U can leave 1mil. reviews of 1* nobody will do nothing is a bad place to be

Horrible experience! Triage nurse was cutting me off when I was explaining what was wrong with me. Also, the discharge nurse refused to follow up with Dr Rice regarding cough medicine she said she would prescribe. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! Oh, and one more thing....the waiting room looks horrible! Chair cushions peeling...just looks gross! I hate to give this place any stars!

They deleted my original rating which shows that these people do not care . I was in the emergency room after a car accident with a neck brace. I was experiencing pain in my neck shoulder and middle back area . They told me it would be about a 7 hour wait before I could be examined ! I was horrified! I waited 4 hours in pain and no one came to check up on me or see that I was alright , apparently you have to be dying first before they would take you seriously and get a doctor for you. Worst hospital I have ever been to , don’t take your loved ones here . They DONt CARe !

Took my child here because she was hit in the eye to be told it’s a EIGHT HOUR wait!!! If that’s not the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. At that point it’s not an ER anymore sound like a regular doctor office to me

Extreme disregard for the value of time of Patients waiting in the ER None of the Management or the staff has the curtesy to even check on patients waiting in the lobby for 4+hours. “We are sorry we are short staffed and I am just a receptionist “ are the answers of the front office at ER Shut down your wing or put signs saying ER is closed for all patients except for ambulances. Why make people wait for so many hours deceiving them while they in pain. Hope Management has some shame in them. These are all humans who are paying for your service. Not waiting for a charity donation.

I’ve been waiting in excruciating pain. BP through the roof. Coming here in an emergency can be dangerous. They literally leave you for dead. If you loss anyone here I’d definitely look into filing a wrongful death lawsuit. The negligence is wanton. I’ve never seen anything like this.

The wait is crazy! Like 5 hours! But the staff is real nice. And Jim the respiratory man is liquid gold!
