Horrible apartment complex! No where for guests to park. A friend of mine has lived here since around the holidays. The temperature in the apartment remains 85-90 degrees since April. They have sent a few people to check on it and “clean” it, yet the temperature stays 85-90 degrees. They have tried to convince my friend that it’s because it’s an upstairs apartment, directly in the sunlight, and because of the unseasonable hot temperatures that this temperature situation in the apartment is normal. It wasn’t unseasonably hot temperatures in April or May but yet the unit still wasn’t functioning correctly. The utility bill is ridiculously high and it would be fine if the AC did it’s job. Not ONE person from the office has physically got off their bottom to walk and feel the unlivable persistent temperatures that has been completely unbearable. Furthermore, there is mold in the vent and NOTHING has been done to rectify the problem any of the problems. The only effort being made to address it is when the office staff tries to convince the tenant that it’s normal. Let me add that tree branches need to be trimmed as it obscures the few parking spaces guest have. A maintenance man came in and said “this is the hottest upstairs apartment he has been in and that something is wrong.” Supposedly, he would be back to look into it. Not surprisingly, he hasn’t been back and does the office staff care or are they in an 85-90 degree apartment. Absolutely not!
I have been living here for a few months now and it has been such a breath of fresh air compared to my last apartment complex. The admin team are always on top of their game with reminders and making sure you feel included with what is happening around the complex. Additionally, the gym is 10/10. I cancelled my gym membership it is that good. The maintenance team mainly Derrick is awesome. He always lets you know whether things are taken care of and if there is a delay he explains why. Overall, I love living here and love the atmosphere of the grounds. Highly recommend.
I wouldn't recommend living here. They will charge you for almost anything with a smile. This place is all about taking your money. And forget about getting all of your deposit back. But it is a beautiful piece of property with a good maitniece crew. It's just managed to take your money. The application process should be more strict about who they let move in. If your going to be paying that kind of money. You don't want to be living below someone that is noisy and throws trash off there balcony, and I'm not going to file a complaint. So they can be staring at me when going to my apartment.
Loved the area and the environment. Definitely a place to live if you enjoy a stroll around the neighborhood- great amenities: including a full gym, pool and dog park. It’s also right next to BREC park. My only vice would be the price for the size. I was living in a 1 bed 1 bath and it was pretty high. The interior although updated still had flaws. The AC is located in the shower causing the house the mold quickly if you do not blast your AC 24/7. That being said they assisted in any and all concerns regarding this and also any repairs that needed to be done in a quick, and efficient manner with sufficient communication. We enjoyed our time here but definitely consider price for size.
I could not have asked for a better first apartment! My fiancé and I lived here for just under a year and the only reason we’re moving is because he got a job out of state. The staff were wonderful, kind, and so helpful! Any maintenance issues were solved quickly, the landscaping was always well kept, and the apartments are beautiful! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!!
I absolutely love this community! Jennifer is amazing, she so sweet and very attentive. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking for a quite place to live with an amazing staff :
We have been living here for the last few months and have truly enjoyed every second of it! The community amenities are fantastic- gym, pool, private and safe entrance to both the complex and the BREC park right next door. It's in a fantastic location! The only things we wish we could change are probably the cost of rent and a desire to see the community have some more activities to meet neighbors. It can be tricky to get to know everyone you live nearby in an apartment setting and we would love some more social activities amidst the complex!
We had such a pleasant experience touring this property. Ultimately, we leased a different place, but Mansions was a close second. The manager was engaging, honest, and thorough.
A great job was done restoring the hot water in a minimum of time. I was very grateful and appreciative. If it had not been on Friday before a weekend, I would have waited to get it looked at. After the waterapipe broke in the apt above mine a couple of weeks ago, I was not sure what to think. Anyway I was so happy to get my laundry, dishwasher and shower done using warm water !!!! Thanks muchly!!!
Another remarkable response from the entire management team at The Mansions! I am really pleased to now be living in such a peaceful corner of Baton Rouge. The Mansions is definitely providing Safety, Serenity & Satisfaction. Thank you so much.
