We stayed overnight on our way to our family vacation destination. We loved it so much that we came back through on our way back home to stay a few days. The campgrounds hosts are super nice, check in is very organized and efficient and the campground is well maintained. The sites are big and the nearby downtown appears to be really nice. Side note: there is a pizza place in town that delivers to your site!!
Loved this campground. The sites were great, water, electric and sewer. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.Service: 5/5
We came and camped for the weekend and it was awesome. Full hook up and so much room on our lot. We definitely will be coming back.Service: 5/5
Nice clean park Accompanied our big rig . Well thought out layout of campsites. Needs more ambiance to get an extra star.Rooms: 5/5
Great RV Park, our group has been going for over 15 years. Very well maintained and nice quiet place.Service: 5/5
Very polite & easy booking . We have never seen such a clean & spacious pull through parking available! Easy access in and out. Plenty of shade and small area of cement with nice clean tables at each spot. All areas are level . Definitely worth coming back again when we have moments to check out the beuitful lakes and parks. Definitely child friendly every place we have gone to in Area.
7/19 Days 11 & 12 of a 65 day road-trip. We arrived in Clear Lake, IA after leaving Prior Lake, MN. Park was really nice, pull thru, clean, lots of room and bonus of 5G WiFi. $35 a night. Clear Lake, we walked along side lake Sunday for couple hours. Nice homes and kinda lake-beach area. Found a spot to watch soccer championship and came back and clean up rv. Lost my best sunglasses at the site when we left.
Very nice park. Beautiful and quiet. Excellent stay!Service: 5/5
Great campground.. we were traveling west when we needed a last minute spot for the evening and they were extremely helpful in providing us a spot for the night, given that it was a Saturday evening and most places were full. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. Campground set up is awesome and the grounds are spotless. Thank you Oakwood RV Park!
This is NOT a pet friendly campsite. When we first arrived and were shown to our spot the first thing they said to us is that our dogs may be excited to be here but they must be quiet and not bark. I have 3 young dogs and I found that odd for a "Pet Friendly" campground. My boys are extremely social as they are still very young. Later that night around 10pm some people were walking their dog and my boys got really excited to see another dog and started barking. They barked about 2-3 minutes before we calmed them down. The next morning the owner came by and said "What are your plans today to keep them quiet? I heard them bark last night and it's not acceptable." I could understand if they were barking obsessively throughout the day or night but it was only a couple times and only for a couple of minutes when they would see children or other dogs bc they wanted to play. I would not recommend this campground to anyone who has social dogs or young dogs. They are "Pet Friendly" to extremely quiet dogs that are seen and not heard. It made for a very miserable weekend for both my boys and us always being on edge if they made a peep we would get kicked out. They also have no activities at all and a small playground that made a piercing screech when the kids were in the swings.
