Description

Oakwood University Church is a Christ-centered, God-fearing, Spirit-filled Seventh-day Adventist congregation.

Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ with loving and open hearts. We are a group of Christian worshipers who share a belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The same God, who in grace and mercy, sent His only begotten Son into the world, not to condemn it, but to save it from sin. This fundamental belief compels us, as believers, to share God's wonderful message of salvation to our community and to the world at large.

We invite you to worship with us any Tuesday Morning at 10 a.m., Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. or Sabbath (Saturday) Morning at 9:15 a.m. If you would like to reach us, please do not hesitate to call, email or drop by our church during worship hours and meet with a member of our church staff and we will do our absolute best to accommodate your needs.

We, the Mississippi Mass Choir, had a blessed time and a fantastic service there. The congregation and staff were so very cordial and made us feel at home. Thank you Oakwood!!
I believe Oakwood is a great school to go to and pray God bless, all students, its a great opportunity for any student. I've never attended but everyone I have met and all the services seen online have been victorious,. I have visited the campus and song with the awesome choir open praise at Oakwood. there are so many great singers pastors, nurses, scientist, doctors, business, health practitioner, chaplains, and so many fields of excellence students. I would love to attend myself some day, but i pray all young people succeed and do well in whatever field they may have chosen. Just let God lead and guide you. I am so proud of everyone who has attended and graduated from this great school. Most importantly, Oakwood is a God fearing, God-ordained school of the prophets. The Bible instructs us to believe in the God of Heaven and earth, and in Jesus's mighty, victorious name. Most schools are special, but a school that honors God is exceptional, and set aside.
If you are looking for a New Church Family look no further!!! Sabbath School is every Saturday from 9:15-10:40am, then Divine Worship at 11:15am. Please come on out and be Bless by God!!
Great service! Was in Huntsville, AL to experience the taping of the Easter program which featured Yolanda Adams and Donny McClurkin. They each performed like the true professionals they are. Pastor Byrd's message was invigorating. There were other talented singers and performers as well. I believe a great time was had by all. Truly fascinating to see how the "behind the scenes" components and individuals who work together to bring a successful program. I hope you are able to watch it when it airs.
I enjoyed the service. I had a negative opinion concerning Dr. Bryd. Oh my goodness was I wrong. I often listen to his sermons on the radio and would turn it off. It seem like he was always yelling so loud until it vexed my spirit. After Ms. Adam's explained how the microphones worked a light bulb with off. He is a great man and I enjoyed hearing him in person for the very 1st time. I would attend their services again.
Great experience watching online OUC!!! I live in VA and I am not always able to get out to church. It is a blessing to know I can stream OUC every Saturday morning at 10:00 am. Keep up the stupendous work!! God bless you all !!!
I love the church service at Oakwood University. I never miss a week even though I'm in California. I watch online an receive a blessing everything. I pray that I'll be able to visit Oakwood and attend a service in person.

I'm So thankful to be able to watch the service online because I can't come to church physically. It's such a blessing to be able to get a blessing every week.
