Celebrate creativity, culture and community with us in Oakwood Village at the third annual Oakwood Village Arts Festival, June 14, 2014!
In June 2011, the first annual Oakwood Village Arts Festival united our mid-town Toronto neighbourhood in a two day celebration of artistic expression and community engagement! The festival featured theatre, dance, video, music, writing, art exhibits and public discussions in response to the theme of VILLAGE.
The second annual OVAF is slated to take place in June 2012 and this year our theme is DIVERSITY. “Oakwood Village is a fantastic, diverse neighbourhood that is home to a wealth of talented, innovative artists working in many different media,” says Suzanne Hersh, co-founder of the OVAF Collective. “The diversity of backgrounds and disciplines gives the area an amazing, collaborative vibe.”
