The owners and staff of Oaxaca have made it possible to have good, authentic, and affordable Mexican food on Long Island since 1994. Today we own two restaurants, Oaxaca and Quetzalcoatl.
Now, as in the beginning, we concentrate on serving good and authentic Mexican food.If you haven’t had the opportunity to try our food, we encourage you to do so and find out why we have been given much praise from critics and customers alike. We have been ranked in the Top 10 Restaurants of Long Island by Newsday, and have been touted as the best Mexican food on Long Island by Zagat, as well as many others. Allow yourself to experience Mexican cuisine as you’ve never experienced before. As Newsday food critic Peter Giannoti writes: “[at] Oaxaca food is consistently good and always at an excellent price.” We are usually very busy on the weekends, so please take that into consideration if it is your first time visiting us.
