Some shifty people work here. I cashed out my tickets and gave it to the older lady behind the counter and she couldn't run them through the machine. Then she drops one of my tickets on the floor and goes into the back to get cash for the one ticket but both were winners. I'm an older person and I shouldn't have to worry about things like this if they employed honest people, this lady should be fired in my opinion. I'll never go back to this run down dump. Take your business elsewhere.
Very regs heavy room. Very friendly table. 11am on Saturday one 1-2 nl table going. No other tables active. Beer only 4.50. dealers are very good professional. Bomb pots for every dealer change. Lotta fun.
The good thing is it's open. I guess, don't know how it stays open & it has a bathroom. I don't know how it stays open. There is one teller which is great, for the small little crowd that they might get. I did feel bad for the way the kitchen & bar are set up so far apart from each other. So if someone wants food the girl has to walk a good 30 - 40 yards to the other side of the building to the kitchen. Then, if they want a drink from the bar she has to walk again back across the building to the bar side. It just seemed very unorganized. I am sure back in it's hay day it was a happening place but now it is run down out of date & there WIFI is so slow. & with some people looking at stats & stuff on there phones to place bets & look at other races on the phone it just was not a good thing at all
No Jai Alai? What's the point, didn't go inside, outside is pretty run down, not inviting at all.
The facility is worn down, that aside, the staff is very courteous and professional.
A place of legend, with a NiNjaTasTic dealer. This place is a fun environment.
It was fun going there there's no slot machines it's just a Sportsbook and a poker room. Kind of out of the way though it was 40 miles Chiefland. But it was a nice ride. And I left there a winner so how bad can it be.
Stopped by to place a bet for the Kentucky Derby. They weren't taking bets yet so I was unable to throw my money on a horse. It is run down. Makes me sad. I remember the days of live Jai Alai and lights with a bunch of hustle and bustle.
Good dealers friendly local country folk but the place is a DUMP inside and out. No parking lot lights. I could go on but what’s the point.Location: 1/5
HUGE disappointment. The website says they open at 9:30am and lists a restaurant menu. We made the trip from Tampa and arrived around 11am and the place was desolate. Walked inside and the counters were unmanned and nothing was going on. We couldn't even grab a bite to eat before we turned around and made the 2+ hour drive home.
