The Ocean City Department of Emergency Service (O.C.E.S.) Communications Division is a secondary P.S.A.P. in Worcester County Maryland. The staffing is comprised of 16 full time employees and 20 seasonal (May to September) employees. O.C.E.S. is a 24 hour facility that receives and dispatches calls for service for the Ocean City Fire/EMS, Ocean City Police Department, Electronic Services, Animal Control and Emergency Management Division. In addition, the center is responsible for answering off duty calls for Ocean city Public Works and Water departments.

COMMENTING ON TOWN OF OCEAN CITY SOCIAL MEDIA SITES
Town of Ocean City departments share information, images and video with the public through external social media websites. Comments made by the public to these sites are reviewed and, while comments will not be edited by Town personnel, a comment may be deleted if it violates the comment policy described here.
• Comments should be related to the posted topic for the Town's social media page or post. Town of Ocean City department social media accounts are not meant for comments that do not directly relate to the purpose or topic of the social media website or for service requests. For general comments, communications, or service requests concerning a Town department, please contact the department directly at www.oceancitymd.gov.
• You are subject to the Terms of Service (TOS) of the host site. Information (photos, videos, etc.) you share with or post to official New York City agency pages is also subject to the TOS of the host site and may be used by the owners of the host site for their own purposes. For more information, consult the host website's TOS.
• Town of Ocean City social media accounts are not open to comments promoting or opposing any person campaigning for election to a political office, or promotion or advertisement of a business or commercial transaction.

USER-CREATED CONTENT
Users are welcome to submit or post content, including photographs and videos, to an official Town of Ocean City site where the agency allows users to post content, the content meets the standards articulated in this Citizen Use Policy and pertains to the subject of the social media site. Users may only post their own, original content. Reproduced or borrowed content that reasonably appears to violate third party rights will be deleted.

The mission of the Ocean City Department of Emergency Services Communications Division is to facilitate the communications process while providing a public safety response to public safety calls for service in a timely and efficient manner.
Communications Division employees will endeavor to exhibit a positive, professional image and interact respectfully and courteously with all co-workers, city personnel and visitors and residents of the Town of Ocean City.
