This new location is EVERYTHING!! They have pretty much anything you need from the big expensive stores. Amazing prices & wide selection of items. So far I’ve always had a very pleasant & helpful cashier. And since their prices are so good I always donate to the charity at checkout!
If your on a budget or just trying to save a few bucks, there's a huge verity of goods here. Isles are tight for a carriage and things are stacked high. Whatch out for falling rocks... I mean falling stock. Take your time in here to look at everything and find the best deals. The checkout lines are tight as well. They have lots of low priced rugs and plenty of painting supplies. If you need a tarp, look no further. The quality will be lower than most big box stores but it's worth a visit. I never leave here empty handed.
What’s most impressive about this store is that they managed to make the interior asthetic so revolting, it makes an old K Mart look smart and fresh by comparison. They could have left the Best Buy the previous tenant decor in place, saved money by doing so, and improved the shopping experience dramatically. Instead they chose “fluorescent lighting chic”. Does Ocean State Job Lot strive to make their stores look like Soviet Era housing blocs?
Best cat toy selection! My local ocean state doesn't even compare to their selection!
Visited the new store for the first time and I wasn't impressed. The store looks cold, dirty, and uninviting. I wish they had kept the carpets from best buy honestly because the OSJL just looked like a warehouse. My coworker said "I've never seen a new store look so old." The products were priced reasonably priced but it's certainly a you get what you pay for situation. I purchased a storage bin which was beneath a pile of unrelated products and the attachable flaps for a cover. The two flaps that I purchased clearly went with the bin but would not attach. It was just cheaply made. I might return in a few months when I've forgotten this otherwise bland experience.

New location is so much better than the old one. Store was clean and well stocked. Better access and parking. The only thing is the aisles were very narrow. Made it difficult to maneuver on a busy Saturday.
I love this store, i always find what i need & more! Food items like cereal, snacks, drinks, seasonal items, clothing, plants & bulbs for the garden, curtains, rugs, pet food & treats, paint brushes, toothbrushes & toothpaste, makeup, and more!!...all at extremely good prices. A great store & friendly, helpful staff!
