Oceanside Lounge

The staff and the location is amazing! Very relaxing! Why only 2 stars? The cooks! This was our 5th visit and our last. 3 out of the 5 visits was during their lunch/dinner menu hours. Two times I tried the fish and chips. Comes out looking crispy and delicious, but the fish was close to raw. My visit last night I ordered coconut shrimp and they looked amazing. Again, the shrimp was under cooked. It’s obvious their fry cook is not up for the job and or they just have the heat set to high. Maybe temp the food before serving….? My husband ordered the porterhouse steak and said it was so salty it wouldn’t freeze in the freezer. Breakfast is pretty good. Their cocktails are also lacking the final touch. We prefer to support our local non chain restaurants, but we are scratching this place off our list.

Went to Oceanside for a drink because they were pet friendly. Nice view. Cold beer. Met a friend there the following day for lunch. Shrimp and grits were great. Today I had breakfast. Eggs, pancakes and sausages. Good food, clean, good service and pet friendly. I would highly recommend Oceanside.

First thing I love about this place is that it is PET FRIENDLY! Other things to love are the friendly and knowledgeable servers, the wonderful outdoor seating views, and fantastic food with a Greek flair. We couldn't make up our minds, so we had a little bit of everything! Blood orange margaritas are so good! For appetizers we had Asian meatballs, flaming cheese and coconut shrimp. My husband had the Greek gyro with coleslaw instead of fries, and I got the Greek salad, with their homemade dressing. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back often! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible both outside and inside!

We went here for dinner. We would of liked to have sat outside but the wind had been blowing at 25 mph all day so we chose to sit inside. We we’re given a window seat which was perfect to still be able to view the water. Our server was great at suggestions and we were super happy with all aspects of our dining experience. Highly recommend.

This was the best experience we have had during our stay. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Carol, she was so pleasant and friendly. She was so accommodating for our toddler. She asked which table would be best to keep her out of the sun. The view was phenomenal! Our server, Aubree, was amazing too. They serve breakfast until 2:00 so my husband was able to have stuffed french toast. But I think our favorite thing was the flaming cheese! The food was amazing but the service was top tier. Kid-friendliness: They were so nice to our toddler. They talked to her and made her feel welcome as well.

The saving grace of this establishment is the view from the top deck. It’s beautiful and breezy. The food, however, not so good. My wife and I ordered the calamari. It was extremely salty. So much so that we ended up leaving some of it and breaking off about half the breading. Another point to note, the draft beer on the top deck is served in plastic cups. This is a pet peeve of mine. I graduated from university long time ago. Serve my beer in a proper pint.

We really enjoyed our visit to Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill. They have a spacious upstairs outdoor bar with plenty of table seating under umbrellas overlooking the ocean. The main restaurant is downstairs and indoors. I had the shrimp and grits which was delicious and not spicy hot like some places do, which I was happy about. The fish and chips and coconut shrimp were also excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. The only negative we experienced were several annoying flies that were bothering us inside. Based on the food and overall experience, it was not worth taking a star away but is worth mentioning as it did affect our dining experience. Overall we enjoyed everything and would definitely go back.

What a spectacular view! Sitting on the top deck! Love the atmosphere! Outdoor seating. The waitress Kelsey was very nice and had great recommendations, had the fish and chips great! Not too greasy and fries are good and crispy, also had the calamari loved it cooked to perfection! And of course the drinks mango Margarita yummy! Definitely have to bring family here when they visit!

My first time here and the outside deck was not opened so we attempted to sit inside and could only handle it long enough to be moved to the outside covered seating..Very noisy b/c most everyone was sitting inside. Could not hear myself think let alone carry on a conversation, so we had to move outside. Service was friendly and attentive, so glad. Started with the flaming cheese with was yummy & so entertaining! I ordered the baked Greek pasta for my entree love Greek food It was baked well done with a ton of cheese on top and swimming in butter. I could not twirl the pasta at all. This dish in my opinion would be better tossed with cheese, lighter butter or just olive oil and not baked. Sent it back and ordered the fresh grouper it was a much better choice. Would I go back? Sure, but only if I could sit at the outside deck overlooking the ocean. Thanks for the good service but work on that Greek pasta dish!

AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!! The service and multiple very joyful greetings by every single staff member! So warm and welcoming and honestly felt so real and genuine. Phenomenal menu and drinks. The food was nothing less than exquisite! Fun music and literally You cannot beat the view!!! Ugh I wish I could live there and do that everyday. Our waitress was phenomenal! It was so so hot out and she was sweating bullets but she said she loves it and would. Great with the kids as well! Please stop by and enjoy everything they have to offer!
