Oconomowoc City Beach
"City Beach in downtown Oconomowoc is a public swimming area and park space at 324 West Wisconsin Avenue. The area is managed by the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department. Lifeguards run beach operations Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. You can swim, rent watercraft to explore the lake. There is also a concession stand or you can bring in your own refreshments. The park space also has a band shell amphitheater that hosts free live entertainment during summer months."

This is without doubt the best public beach I've ever been to! There's permanent umbrellas on the beach and it's well kept up! There are lifeguards on duty! You do have to pay to swim here but I think it's worth it
Great beach! Love the location, so many downtown shops to visit nearby, Friday night concerts are a huge draw!
Lake Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc is a nice place to take your family or your friends and have a nice beach time lifeguards are onsite There's a playground on the sand for the kids plenty of room for you to setup a beach Umbria clean bathroom onsite. Also for your boat lovers There's a boat launch for your convenience to get on the lake and do some fishing. Enjoy this wonderful city Beach.
Always fun, busy,hot day crowded but plenty of room on beach.
Beautiful beach to relax at.
This is such a nice beach! There was plenty of clean sand to play and sit in. The water was clean for a lake. The lifeguards were friendly. We really liked that we could bring floats in the water and the kids were allowed to swim without having to be told they couldn't go under water. It was a really good place to spend the day. There was also a really nice jungle gym, bathrooms and a concession stand.
Great little beach Lifeguards are outstanding good play area for the kids water is so beautiful And if you are thirsty they have a nice little selection of drinks it's a great city beach good for the family or if you're just by yourself and there's a boat Landing there you cannot go wrong.
Picked up an Italian beef sandwich at Bella Gusto. Drove 2 blocks, grabbed one of the few remaining open parking spaces, and sat at a picnic table shaded by trees. It was 90°, but wanted to eat outside. There are 8 tables. Only 1 other was taken. I used to ride my bike to the beach and swim laps early in the morning. However, as I have picked up swimmers' or duck itch a parasite when I swam in Lac LaBelle, I joined the Y, swim in the pool, and only have used the beach a couple of times in the past 4 years. If you do swim, rinse off and towel dry by rubbing to reduce duck itch. The itching lasts for 2 weeks or so.
One of our favorite beaches. Usually in the off season so we don’t have to pay tho
Nice kids beach, very friendly ducks.
