Diego helped me out and was awesome at his job. The shoes I wanted was out of my size until Diego came over and started scanning the boxes and said they still have one and scanned over 20 boxes to find me the size I need and He found them and I was able to get the shoes I wanted instead of having to order them online. My family and I went back to school shopping today at the Off-Broadway store in Murfreesboro TN location. I took my stroller and my infant to the women's section and tried on a pair of shoes and walked 5 feet away within the same aisle the shoes where originally located. My infant began to cry so I was holding him out of the stroller when one associate approached me asking if the empty box belonged with the shoes I'm trying on. I said yes and she placed the box on top of other shoes and asked me to keep the box with the shoes if I'm purchasing to which I agreed. My husband approached me because my infant is now screaming so I walked out of the aisle towards him. I suppose my mistake was that I'm still wearing the shoes I'm trying on. As I'm returning to grab the box to purchase the shoes a store manager named Bri approached me and rudely told me I needed to keep the box with me. I explained I didn't grab the box because I'm pushing a stroller with one hand and holding a baby with my other hand. She then accuses me of trying to steal the shoes. I am beyond offended and upset at such a serious accusation. She ends up walking away, and I take the shoes off and put my own shoes back on. I approach her again to ask for her name. At this point she tells me she's the manager and tells me her name. I let her know I'll be filing a complaint. Bri is still confrontational in her tone and eventually says "why are you still talking to me, this conversation was over" as I'm walking away from her. I approached another associate to ask for a manager and was met with the same confrontation and again told the new associate was a manager. Which leads me to this long email to give you the context of my experience today. 1. Store policies are more than appropriate, however being accused of stealing is a serious accusation which should not be given lightly. 2. As a manager, I'd assume Off Broadway would want to de-escalate customer issues rather than start them and escalate them into confrontations other customers are witnessing. 3. It is very rude and immature to tell a customer "why are you still talking to me, this conversation was over". I expect this demeanor from a teenager, not a working professional.
My boyfriend bought me 2 pairs of shoes. I loved these. And they have all brands for women and men. They have too a lot discounts.
Buyer beware. Found a pair of sandals on the clearance rack. The "sale" price was actually higher than the original price underneath it. Brought it to the Manager's attention and she wouldn't even look at the original price. Just insisted the higher price was correct. It's faudulent business practices to price a "sale" item higher than the original price. I'll never visit another Off Broadway store.
I love coming to this store, the associates are very helpful and i love the variety of shoes. I come in all the time and either get the shoes in the store or i order them. Diego was very helpful at the register and recommended me pairs to order. I recommend going here!
The BOGO is no longer. They've took every name brand shoe and made them all a have to be 1st pair in the BOGO. It was the most saddest thing I've seen especially during the tax free weekend for school shopping. I would not even recommend going here at all now, might as well shop at the mall.
Great store. Has very nice employees that are helpful. They almost always have what I'm looking for in stock. If they don't they direct me to the website that I can order it from or they will even ordered in store if they can and have it delivered to my house.
My wife and I went here all the time. Never again. Very deceptive sale practices now. Buy 1 get 1 1/2 off sale. Went to the register and was told now let me get this straight.... The Hey Dudes I was buying were not eligible for 1/2 off at all....but if the second pair of shoes I was buying were less expensive....they would be eligible. Since the second pair I was buying were MORE expensive, nothing was eligible. Bought everything. It was $160....then I returned them immediately as I watched other customers getting POed about the same thing. 1/2 the store was "ineligible". Bought the exact same Dudes and Sketchers on Amazon for $45 less. You lost my wife and I for good. Corporate dunfukery at it's finest!
Be careful and take a look before you buy!
I had two trips there this week, first to pick up an online gift order. Very convenient, & the young lady who helped me was very nice, & informed that with the buy one get one half off that I could come back within 60 days to get a half off pair. I did go back & purchased a pair of tennis shoes for an angel tree child. I believe it was the same young lady who waited on me previously, & she was so kind to reassure me that I had the right size & that I had made a good choice. I appreciated her kindness & input.
