Ordered online for pick up. Very easy and convenient. When I got to the store, I decided to look around. Found some things... frames for certificates and an office chair that I might get. Sometimes online shopping really take away the value and experience we get from shopping in the store. Being able to try put the chairs... I didn't like the similar but much mire expensive chairs. The frames come in different quality and features including for hanging. The employees were friendly and professional. I'm going to need to go in the stores more to explore what they have ... probably after I ordered what I need/want online for in store pick up.
You often pay more for items walking into the store than getting them curbside or delivered. Recent example, printer ink $35 delivered or curbside, exact same item $48 walking into the store, more than 35% more. Don't need that in this time of inflation. Hand over your email address for 25+ sales emails per month in your inbox, no thanks to get the discount. Walking into the store ok if urgently need an item, can't wait for delivery or get it otherwise, if you are willing to pay the premium. Recycle printer ink here, you have to hand over a bunch of personal information. Walk next door to the Target in the same shopping center, drop it in the recycling bin there, and you are quickly done.
Purchased a 22" 1080P monitor from this location. The MOD and her staff gave me great customer service and a great customer experience by price matching the monitor I wanted to purchase. I didn't catch the MODs name, but she had dark brown hair. Even though the price difference was a small amount, she went above and beyond for me as the customer.
The service is great. The workers are nice, friendly and really helpful. I also like membership because I actually get money back. I usually use the print service which is fast. No complaints.
I have been an Office Depot customer for more than 20 years. Although online purchases become more and more frequent, sometimes I still enjoy the experience of shopping in the real store.
This was my first time visiting an Office Depot on a while and I was fairly disappointed. The customer service agents were friendly, but the store was both understaffed and under-stocked. This points to a level of mismanagement at the corporate level. There were literally more cases of water to buy at this store than there were laptops — and that’s exactly what I came in hoping to find. One employee even told me a different store to go to to try out laptops, since there were only three or four out for testing. Overall.... I get the feeling that this place will shut down soon. It can’t really compete with other stores that sell similar products and give discounts.
OfficeMax has what I need IN STOCK and I get it immediately. I can't imagine a world where I can't walk into a store and get what I need immediately. if everyone keeps ordering online all the time, imagine a tax deadline but you ran out of office supplies.. deadline is midnight and you have to order something that could take 5 days to get there. DISASTER.. SHOP AT OFFICE MAX!!!
Save yourself the hassle and shop at Staples. I called this store asking for assistance for an online order. The assistant manager was rude and condescending. He refused to provide information to assist me.
The store did not have 9"x12" manila envelops but Staples did. They need to do a better job at restoring their stock.
This Office depot location has friendly, professional associates. Online print orders are made with care, produced quickly, and the folks working are very helpful.
