Agree with all reviewers. My prosecutor had romantically pursued me and I rejected him a few years prior to landing in his courtroom. My abusive ex accused me of stealing from him. We kept a joint account in both our names which looking back I realize was stupid. He lied… some how I got charged because the courts didn’t know it was a joint account. My prosecutor knew about the abuse and even prohibited me from talking about it.I didn’t recognize my prosecutor until after the trial but everything started to make since. They even put me in jail for a non violent conviction the day after letting all the non violent offenders out. It’s like the special mistreatment was extremely obvious and it still wasn’t enough for them to think he had done anything wrong.
This department isn't a help at all. They don't deserve any stars! All they do is side with the attorneys. Miller and Miller has my father in foreclosure because of a chapter 13 that they filed that he couldn't afford. They refused to fix the issues and they were allowed to wait till the very last moment to file and told my father at the very last moment to have the family to sign a form to get $600 monthly from our family to help him. They took all of his money and put him in a worse position. The Kathy lady that called me about the situation was very rude and disrespectful to me and was extremely unprofessional. She talked over me many times and even raised her voice multiple times and wouldn't listen. Put this on top of us being black and it's the perfect storm. Slavery is still in play. It's just more sophisticated. Yes, it has gotten a little better in the last 400 years. However, we still face the same issues. The discrimination hasn't ever stopped and I don't believe it ever will.
I called more than three times asking for a intake investigator. I spelled my last name Nd repeated my phone number, also I have called within standard business hours and nothing has been done. I have filled out and emailed with no response. Wisconsin should be embarrassed.
I went through 4 lawyers during my divorce all for different reasons. I grieved 3 so far with only the first lawyer being repirmanded. But he didnt return my 1,600$ retainer. Instead I had to file through Fee Arbitration. Thats a scam, attorneys protecting attorneys. Not only did the lawyer keep my money, i owed him an additional 400$ due to him charging me after he was fired. Thats fraud in my book. I agree with another persons complaint lawyers shouldnt be the only ones monitoring lawyers. This system is broken. The other lawyer I sent in a complaint about, new my husband and my violent past. He continued his bad behavior with knives at his bedside, pounding on my door in the early hrs. The list is endless.I begged her to get him out. Her comment, "be glad hes paying the bills." OLR didnt see anything wrong, in fact I spoke withTim the director, and he told me lawyer "DONT HAVE TO PROTECT YOU." Wow. Lawyers? Crooks and lairs, that's my experience.
What do you call 100,000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start!! Times are changing. We have your names.. Hopefully one day real justice shall be served upon your heads.
Scam. A shell company, funded by and for WI lawyers to protect dirty WI liars/lawyers. 99% are corrupt in WI. And this place is the worst they won't file w/you a actual telephone grievance, they won't do it they won't ever really answer your emails - only deflect your questions. Never pick up the phone there either or call you back. They act like a politician, all confused not really answer your question or help you. My question is who's really working here and funding this project you need to get shut down ASAP. Evil. What's the difference between a liar and a lawyer - nothing !
Absolutely terrible. The absolute worst group of people I have ever spoken or done business with. I believe, Ms. Cathe Hahn, Ms. Cynthia Shalley, have been untruthful in the past appearing to lean towards favoring attorneys related to concerns individuals have with legal counsel. I am concerned that no outside agency or individuals, oversee this group of employees as there appear to be ethical concerns as well. Keith Sellen is a liar who favors at all cost the members of his staff as there are a number of instances where he has been complicit in shutting down investigations.
almost afraid to even report what I had experienced. Does this give the attorneys out there a great feeling that they will not be reprimanded when they do wrong. That they do not shutter if caught in wrong doing. Is this organization even going to help me. The abused?
You can supply evidence, show deceit and basically lay it out for them. Yet they respond with a typical response - pre typed letter but just have to change the names. As one previously stated- don’t waste you time hope and belief in accountability or fairness. Definitely there to make the general public believe there someone watching over lawyer and misconduct.
A political organization that does more to protect lawyers than regulate their unethical conduct. Operates like an insurance company that tries to block and tackle the large majority of valid claims.
