I always have a great experience at this store. I've had things printed, and the print shop answers my questions patiently and accurately. Any other items I'm interested in are always in stock and at reasonable prices.
If you can buy from any other source, I highly recommend doing so. The manager, on duty the day I visited, behaved like a neanderthal in my opinion. Complete and total lack of any adequate communication or personal interaction skills. Came across about as rude as possible. Appeared angry with the world and appeared like the last place he wanted to be was working at Office Max. The cashier had extremely minimal communication skills herself. Parents better wake up and get their kids off those cell phones, video games, and computers. If that does not happen, I believe we are only a generation away of having a country full of zombies. What a sad sad society we are creating. And they are going to pass those poor skills onto their kids. And if you think the schools will teach them those important skills, think again. Not gonna happen because most of the teachers coming out of that generation will not have learned those skills themselves.
Office Max at the Forum staff was extremely helpful. Thank goodness for their price-matching policy. It saved me a lot of money!
Just left the store 10 minutes ago 7/15/23 ~5:40pm. The two ladies on shift didn't greet when my partner entered despite just standing there chatting and staring while not doing anything and were rude and off-putting when asked a simple question. Seems that their conversation was more important. Customer service in that shift dept. could use some work. Definitely not welcoming, and it is clearly a reoccurring theme in this store according to other reviews. EDIT: I recently mentioned that the employees were two women, it was one woman and one man. My apologies on this. I deleted my incorrect statement.
It wasn't a bad experience they just couldn't do what I needed them to do. They wanted me to place my order online. So I looked around and found a service that was less than ½ the price, including shipping it to my door. Big mistake to not take payment over the phone. You lost a customer due to this policy.
Employees were great and helpful…. But, the overall appearance inside the store was disgusting!!!! Filthy, dirty & nasty. Please get rid of the horrible dirty carpet, and put some other cheap flooring.
I went today to have baby shower invitations printed and Paige was very irritated and unpleasant at the printing area. I ended up leaving and going to another office Max which was honestly out of my way and further out for assistance.
My experience here today was not happy with it. At the print center, there were ten customers, including me, waiting in line, and only one girl was working with them. 2 guys were sitting at the cashier with no customer for checkout, and they saw the line. However, they don’t even try to help a girl who works alone at the print center.
I went in to have my daughter prayer card laminated. She passed away. First thing he ask was “ I hope you don’t need this fast” very rude and inconsiderate for a mom in morning. It would take 8 days to have 150 laminated. UPS store was able to do it in 1 day. They were very compassionate and considerate. And said “sorry for loss” she is beautiful and too young. Your worker should show compassion and not have treated me like I was getting a poster printed.
After standing in line without a greeting..I stepped up to the counter, only to be welcomed by the worst customer interaction action I have ever seen! The nice lady at the counter was less than enthusiastic to see yet another customer who need to print out something very important and a line of customers building behind! I wasn't about to be in the hands of someone who was very upset that she had to work
