First time here and so much for a EMERGENCY ROOM first hand ignorant I'm pregnant not sure how far alone I am and the secretary denied me sonogram to check and see baby condition. This is super sad and unprofessional no wonder its empty in here people just want to get pay to be useless until it happens to them one day bet they want have that same energy.
I was there with my 3 year old son last night for an unknown allergic reaction. Every single person we encountered was so nice and pleasant especially for it being 11 at night. I was hesitant to bring him to this hospital due to negative feedback from family members but I can honestly say I was pleased with the care provided to my son. Thank you,
I was put in a exam room within 20 minutes upon arriving. Both the Dr can't remember her name and my nurse Courtney took my concerns very serious . The dr sat down with me and went over the plan of care . My nurse Courtney was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Courtney explained everything she was doing. When I was discharged both the Dr and my nurse Courtney helped guide my discharge plan for me at home . I felt very confident & comfortable with how they treated not just as a patient but as a person !!!
My mom went to the ER and was taken into the back. After an hour, we asked if we could go back and see her only to be told rudely “I’ll look into it”. After waiting another 30 minutes, I asked another nurse who shouted “you’ll have to wait, we are busy”. 10 minutes later, I was called back and saw nurses standing around on their phones with no signs of being busy. Typical medical system overpriced, unprofessional staffing, and poor care.
Writing this review after driving in the middle of the night to take my roommate to the hospital under the suspicion of a heart attack. The staff were already super overworked, the waiting room had like ten people already, but we got seen in quick. This is my third time here and every time the staff is compassionate, communicative and self-sacrificing. The lovely triage was supposed to go on break an hour ago, but saw how stressed we looked and took us in. Lasuri greeted us and listened to us at triage, the kind officer at the desk helped my roommate into a wheelchair with me, Simone our RN kept us calm and waited for us kindly, and Dr. Eckhert saw her immediately and gave us a very comprehensive diagnosis of what was and wasn't happening as well as a heart doctor recommendation. I wish I could remember the exact staff each time I was here, but I cannot express enough how much I trust these doctors and nurses. The last ER we went to for an emergency didn't show us the same compassion or explain to us what was going on or what to do- but these guys always do a good job. Thank you again, DeGraff Memorial Night Crew!
First of all, half of these one-star reviews sound like absolute nonsense. They sound like they were written either by children, half-wits, or self-important narcissists who think the world revolves around them. Some of them sound so farfetched, they have to be made up. I mean, c'mon? Anyway - I have been to this ER twice now. I went here in 2022 and in 2023. Both times, I was greeted immediately when I walked in. Both the receptionist and security guards were both welcoming and kind. Both times I was brought into intake w/ the triage nurse within 20 minutes. Both times I was in an ER bay/room within 30 minutes. Every nurse, PA, MD and tech I encountered were kind, compassionate and genuinely helpful. The time I went in 2022, after a CT, it was found I would need to be sent to inpatient so I was transferred to their sister hospital Suburban/Millard Fillmore. Their ER was a bit more chaotic, but still wonderful This most recent trip on 31-JUL I was thankfully able to leave after 4 hours. After labs, results, and another CT I wish they still had an active hospital component because the care I received at DeGraff was wonderful. In 2022 I saw Dr. Gutillo, she was fantastic. In 2023 I saw PA Carrie, every bit as fantastic as well. And a special mention to the security guard working on 31-JUL of this year, I didnt' see her name - she was an older woman with pulled back blonde hair. She was so sweet, kind and caring - what a great person to have front facing your ER. Thank you DeGraff!
I am diabetic and was suffering from a terrible infection, Dr.Nguyen Randy was amazing and so kind and caring and really helped me. He actually listens to you and doesn’t minimize your pain. I highly recommend him if you are someone who suffers from anxiety and you are in pain a lot and need fast medical attention. The Nurses were so kind and even Maria at the front desk was so welcoming. Thankyou so much everyone at Degraff who helped me.
Cut my hand open & was in waiting room for 2 hours leaking blood. Had enough and called ahead to an urgent care to be seen immediately. Told triage nurse to release me & they said they will put me in a room. Got to the room and waited another 2 hours to be seen. Worst ER experience ever. Ended up leaving due to not being seen nor having wound cleaned. Went to wellnow for a way better experience.
triage nurse MARIA was so rude & ignorant to me for no reason. My husband was called to the triage room, she let him go inside but slammed the door in my face with no explanation on why I couldn’t go in the room with him. She let othersYT folks go into the triage room with their relatives but I was the only one that couldn’t do the same. When asked why, she ignored me multiple times. I understand people may have bad days but don’t take your attitude out on others who didn’t do anything to you. Maria you are very ignorant and racist!
Do not understand the bad reviews, I was there today and everyone that I came into contact with was nothing but respectful, kind, attentive and informative. I would definitely go there if I need to again hopefully i won’t need to thank you to the medical staff who made me feel as comfortable as possible.
