On May 18, my husband Bob fell at Abbington Arlington Assisted Living owing to neglect care. But ODH stands by Abbington, not protect the innocent residents. If ODH respects Ohioans and residents in nursing homes and their family caregivers, it should not just do a so rough investigation. It should hold the accountability of Abbington! But it is so sad for Ohioans, for Bob, for his family people, for all innocent and helpless people.
I made complaints on Crestview nursing home and rehab in Lancaster Ohio, sent disgusting photos of my parents filthy room along with video. Feces all over the bathroom, pills in floor showing they are not getting meds, video of other residents going in their room and threatening them with violence, statements from staff backing all this up, and yet odoh said they couldn't find anything wrong??!!! Guess they are taking payoffs from nursing home, I will never call them again and I'm taking all my evidence and findings from odoh to the news media, social media, governors office and any place else I can think of!!! Time someone stands up for the elderly in their time of need !!!! Ohio department of health and the ombudsman are a joke !!!!
Filed to get an updated copy of birth certificate over a year ago and not so much as a peep from these crooks.
No phone numbers. Need because of disability. THANKS SO MUCH
A health department care about people's livelihoods and health in all aspects. The Ohio Health Department does not care about human health unless you do exactly what they say. They have zero tolerance or understanding for people who cannot comply to their recommendations and somehow can turn our neighbors on us too to which they know nothing about our lives or why we can't comply due to very personal and traumatic experiences....They are just another political organization...truly sad...
O-D-H should listen to people's voices.
Can someone explain the thought process behind telling river kayaking businesses that people can’t bring their own kayaks because that is somehow more likely to spread COVID than people reusing the same kayaks over and over. You people really are a special kind of stupid.

No jokes here, just appreciation for dispensing accurate public health information. It's disappointing to see that so many think they know more than experts because they Googled something for 3 minutes.
Great to work for until they became the Covid scandemic cops.
