Ohio State College Barber School

I come here a lot. To me shaving is relaxing and they take their time to give you that fresh look. Remember this is a school and this guys are not perfect and make sure you have enough time to seat and get your cut. The advance barbers some are solid while some are struggling but at the end of the day you still come out looking fresh. The price here is supper supper affordable and for that I can not complain. The only think is sometimes the students be loud when talking and it takes away the relaxation part from me!!!

This place just permanently lost my business and I've been coming here for around 20 years! When you advertise being open on Wednesdays until 7, and I get there coming straight from work at 6, I walk in at 6:20, and I'm told, "brother we're closed? I say, "I thought you close at 7 on Wednesdays. I'm then told, "here's the trick, get here at 6:15. YOU ADVERTISE OPEN UNTIL 7!!!!!!!!!!!!. You know what, fine! I'll find a places that cares. People get there as best as they can with their other responsibilities. And it's a shame this place no longer matches the customer service with what they advertise. I used to enjoy coming in. I don't get it!

Bryce did a great job on my hair. He clearly understood what I wanted. I have been a great clip customer and they are all about blending the hair in any style. The style I have is where the middle of my hair is the pony tail. The sides/back is short. Apart from Bryce I have also sat with two other barbers. Even they were awesome. If still Bryce is here than he is my to go person.

Website says they close at 7 pm walked in at 530 pm, the receptionist was very rude

We came 40 mins before they closed so they overpriced us and started making fun of my mom because they thought they could take advantage of her since she had an accent.

I love taking my son here they always do a great job! Thanks to all who work on his hair!!

Showed a picture of my hair when it was originally cut and just asked for a trim. The barber did whatever they wanted and fully just straight up did not cut a section of my hair right next to an area cut shorter than asked and shown. You can’t uncut hair and there is now no way to even out my hair until sections of it grow back. I don’t know what to say even.

My son went there today he is special needs the person who was assigned to him really hurt him!! He has a cut on his forehead from a razor blade. He put a white cape on him and hurt him! I took pictures of this When he got home. I called to ask the name of the person who did this the guy who answered the phone was nasty and rude I will go to report this to the owner of the barber college. And the guy who answered said well they are college students. They need to be shut down for good !!!!!!!

The place has went down over the years. Barbers rather talk to each other than cut customers hair. The lady at the front who looks like the comedian Luenell acts like she doesnt want to be there. They need better leadership!!!!!!!!

I was introduced here by a friend back in 2016. Why pay $25-$30 for hair cut out there while you can pay less for even a better results compared to most barbers shops in the streets?
